The PrepHoops Circuit season continued this past weekend in Phoenix, with the Bash in the Desert. The event, which took place at Inspire courts Friday, April 30th through Sunday, May 2nd, and showcased a total of 67 teams ranging from ages 15 to 17U. In this article, we take a look at some of the local players to keep an eye on for the event.
Desmond Green Desmond Green 6'9" | C Silverado | 2021 State NV 6’9 C Las Vegas Olympians 2021 (#48PHN 2021) - Once a game Desmond Green Desmond Green 6'9" | C Silverado | 2021 State NV does something that makes you go hmmmm. I felt like this weekend in four games he had exactly four of those plays. The 6’9 Big runs the floor like a deer and showed D1 Level athleticism.

6’2 SF Hardwork Dedication 2021 (#92PHN 2021) (featured image) - Slay showed off some good athleticism this weekend. He was good in transition and managed to hammer down a couple of dunks. The SF had a miss over the top of a defender that would have shut the gym down.

5’10 PG All Vegas 2023 (#17PHN 2023) - The bulldog PG, helped lead All Vegas this weekend. He did what he does best, which is playing lockdown defense while providing savvy ballhandling and putting the pressure on defenders with his driving ability.

5’10 PG All Vegas 2023 (#41PHN 2023) - I liked Brown when I saw him playing for Blue Hoops during the Fall, and liked him a little more when he came up to Cedar City to play a few months back. The cat-quick PG displayed a solid handle and put pressure on defenses with his driving ability.
Damian Rodriguez Damian Rodriguez 5'10" | PG Desert Oasis | 2023 State NV 5’10 PG All Vegas 2023 - Rodriguez is a good two-way PG. He was active on defense, harassing ballhandlers, and showed a good handle of his own on the offensive end. He’s a willing passer, that created his share of plays for teammates.
