Over 35 teams participated in the event featuring teams from California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. It also featured some dead eye snipers. In this article, we take a look at some of the top snipers from the event.
JJ Sullivan SG D1 Minnesota 2025 – Sullivan’s release is lighting fast. What impressed me most about his shooting, was his ability to make shots from a variety of angles. The lefty was able to move without the ball, get his feet set, catch and release in a matter of milliseconds. He was accurate in catch in shoot, but also when shooting the ball from a variety of body angles.
Jake Hall 6’1 SG Multi-Level Basketball 2025 – Hall staked his claim as one of the best shooters in his class this weekend. He has legitimate range out to the college 3 and does a remarkable job of moving without the basketball to get his shot off. Hall lives for the big moment, evident by his game-winning 3 in the Semifinals to send MLB to the Championship game.
Dax Hall 5’4 PG SD Prospects 2027 – Shooting must run in the genes, the younger brother of Jake was one of the better shooters in the c/o
2027. Easy to label him as a corner specialist, as he was money from that spot, but Hall also showed that he is accurate from straight on and the wings. Even at this stage in his career, he is a floor spacer, that must have a body attached to him at all times.
Brandon Mason Jr 5’8 PG JB White Elite 2026 – B Mase is one of several talented shooters for JB White. He’s not afraid to take the big shot, as he knocked down several 3’s in a close competitive game against Team Dojo. He does a lot of his sniping off the bounce, using a good rhythm dribble to free defenders before snaping the net from deep.
Deion Lewis 5’2 PG Team Dojo 2026 – Lewis was one of the more crafty shooters I saw. He wasn’t limited to only making 3’s either. He displayed a good mid-range shot and played P&R basketball well. The diminutive PG used high ball screens to separate himself from defenders, allowing him space to burry shots from behind the line.
Caiden Jackson 5’4 PG WOGO 2027 (featured image) – This kid has an eerie resemblance to Steph Curry. Don’t get crazy, but he shoots it similar to the All-Star guard as well. Jackson has a quick release and was able to knock down a ton of 3’s throughout the weekend. He was money in the corner, allowing the WOGO guards space to drive, and putting defenders in a bind. When they helped, Jackson made them pay.
Aiden Rollins 5’9 CG YBA 2026 – Rollins was a revelation this weekend. He did a bunch of other things for YBA, but you simply can’t ignore his shooting. Seemed to always be making tough contested 3’s. He showed some wiggle and was tough in transition because he could either blow by, or stop and pop from behind the arc.
