The South Dakota Junior All State Team

<p>Today we honor the top juniors in the state of South Dakota from the 2020-21 season.  The South Dakota Junior All State Team!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> [caption id="attachment_1132671" align="alignright" width="150"]<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/02/Kalen-Garry-crop-1341x881-1613418201.jpeg"><img class="wp-image-1132671 size-thumbnail" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/02/Kalen-Garry-crop-1341x881-1613418201-150x150.jpeg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a> Garry[/caption] <p><strong>PHD Junior All State First Team</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="812196" first="Kalen" last="Garry"] of DeSmet (6’3 G).  Garry led his team to a state title with a 25-1 record averaging 23 points and seven boards a game.   Garry shot an outstanding 46 percent from the arc this year and pushed his team to success on a nightly basis.  </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="812199" first="Caden" last="Hinker"] of Mitchell (6’6 F).   Caden averaged a double double at 17 points and 10 rebounds a game plus dished out five assists a contest. He led the Kernels to 15 wins. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="812201" first="Mikele" last="Kambalo"] of Sioux Falls Washington (5’8 G).  Mikele put together a 12.4 points and four assists per game season shooting 40 percent at the arc for a team that was ranked number one for much of the year. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="812206" first="Tash" last="Lunday"] of Flandreau (6’5 F).  Tash was one of the most unstoppable forces in Class A basketball this year battling to 21 points and 10 rebounds a game.  Led his team to 16 wins.  </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="812209" first="Cael" last="Lundin"] of Tea Area (6’2 G).   Cael average 19 points, 5.5 boards, and 2.5 assists a game attacking defenses relentlessly for a top ten team in Class A. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>PHD Junior All State Second Team</strong></p> <p>Juron Adams of Tiospa Zina (6’1 G).  Adams averaged 24 points and eight boards a game shooting 56 percent from the floor. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="968150" first="Marcus" last="Phillips"] of SF Roosevelt (6’5 F).  All conference player for the state champions. </p> <p>Sam Rohlfs of Aberdeen Central (6’4 G).  Rohlfs was the top player on a balanced squad of young players.  All ESD honored.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="812211" first="Rett" last="Osthus"] of De Smet (6’0 G).  Rett averaged 11 points, four boards, and five assists a game for the state champs.  </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="968191" first="Caden" last="Foxley"] of Platte-Geddes (6’4 F).  Double-double average of 16 and 11 for a top ten team.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> [caption id="attachment_1026977" align="alignright" width="150"]<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/08/Drew-Norberg.jpg"><img class="wp-image-1026977 size-thumbnail" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/08/Drew-Norberg-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a> Norberg[/caption] <p><strong>PHD Junior All State Third Team</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="812203" first="Nathan" last="Koole"] of SF Christian (6’9 C).
