<p>Here is the PHD, Class B All State Team for the 2020-21 season. </p>

<p><strong>Class B All State First Team</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="812196" first="Kalen" last="Garry"]</strong> of DeSmet (Jr). The Class B MVP, Garry led his team to a state title with a 25-1 record averaging 23 points and seven boards a game. Garry shot an outstanding 46 percent from the arc.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="963747" first="Joe" last="Sayler"]</strong> of White River (Soph). Sayler averaged 29.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists a game scoring on half of his attempts. White River went 19-6 this year with the future SDSU player leading the way.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="757827" first="Connor" last="Libis"]</strong> of Dell Rapids St. Mary (Sr). Libis averaged 23.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and three assists a game this year. He finished 3<sup>rd</sup> on the all time leading scorer’s list in the South Dakota high school basketball history. Headed to Briar Cliff.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="975518" first="Sam" last="Aslesen"]</strong> of Howard (SR). The DWU committed forward averaged 19.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists a game shooting 53 percent from the field. His team finished with a ranking of 7th<sup>th</sup> in state.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="975502" first="Gradee" last="Sherman"]</strong> of Viborg-Hurley. Sherman led Viborg-Hurley to a final four finish in Class B with his 22 points, 12.5 rebounds a game shooting 66 percent from the field. Mr. Class B Double-Double.</p>

<p><strong>Class B All State Second Team</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="975508" first="Tyce" last="Ortman"]</strong> of Canistota (Sr). Tyce averaged 17.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.1 assists a game leading his team to the state tournament and a final PHD Class B ranking of 5<sup>th</sup> in the state at 22-4.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="963783" first="Malek" last="Wieker"]</strong> of Aberdeen Christian (Soph). Malek averaged 13 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists a game for the second best team in Class A basketball.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="975531" first="Tisyn" last="Spader"]</strong> of Howard (Sr). Averaged 18 points and five rebounds a game for 18-4 Howard. Headed to DWU next season.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="968191" first="Caden" last="Foxley"]</strong> of Platte-Geddes (Jr). Double-double average of 16 and 11, led his team to a final PHD team ranking of 9<sup>th</sup> in state.</p>
<p><strong>Daniel Mitchell</strong> of Gregory (Fr). Mitchell put up monster numbers at 26.4 points, 11.6 boards, and three blocks a game making half his attempts plus 76 threes.</p>

<p><strong>Class B All State Third Team</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="757853" first="Kelby" last="VanDerWerff"]</strong> of Platte-Geddes (Sr). Kelby gave PG 16.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, and a couple blocks a game.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="812211" first="Rett" last="Osthus"]</strong> of De Smet (Jr). Rett averaged 11 points, four boards, and five assists a game for the state champs. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="975540" first="Matthew" last="Nibbe"]</strong> of Elkton-Lake Benton (Sr). Elkton-Lake Benton finished with a ranking of 6<sup>th</sup> in the final PHD rankings led by Nibbe’s 16 points and 8 boards a game.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="975569" first="Chase" last="Merrill"]</strong> of Canisota (Sr). Chase made half his shots this year and Canisota was at state with a 22-4 record. Chase averaged 17 points, 5.5 boards, and 3.6 assists a game.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="812205" first="Grant" last="Luikens"]</strong> of Potter County (Jr). Potter County was 19-4 this year and a game away from state. Luikens averaged 20 points and 7 boards a game.</p>

<p><strong>Class B All State Fourth Team</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="963762" first="Brian" last="LaRoche Jr"]</strong> of Lower Brule (Soph). Led his team to state averaging 16.6 points, four boards, four assists, and three assists a game.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="963765" first="Ethan" last="Russell"]</strong> of Aberdeen Christian (Soph). Teamed with [player_tooltip player_id="975542" first="Brent" last="Ekanger"] to make a great frontcourt pair, Russell was excellent down the stretch</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="975504" first="Jacob" last="Messmer"]</strong> of Wessington Springs (Sr). Messmer was a constant double-double putting up 19 and 11 a night.</p>
<p><strong>Mason Scheske</strong> of Wessington Springs (Jr). Excellent frontcourt player that was named all league after leading his team to an 18-5 year.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="975595" first="Brendan" last="Wentland"]</strong> of Corsica-Stickney (Sr). Wentland averaged 18 points, eight boards, and four assists for a 16-win team.</p>
