15U Prospects record 4-0 CHAMPIONS
Wins – ND Attack Black, West Central United, ECI Hoeg, MN Rise
They took care of business in every game. The Prospects only close and contested game was against the other ECI 15U Hoeg team. This squad really gets after it and knows how to share the basketball. They are a very fun team to watch. They have some flashy, high-flyers, strong, and skilled players.
Standout Players
Jeremiah Sem Jeremiah Sem 6'3" | SG Fargo North | 2024 State #303 Nation ND (2024) |6-1 G| Fargo North – He had 3 monster dunks in the championship game. Sem was the best player on both sides of the ball in this tournament. He scored at all 3 levels. Jeremiah made his presence know on defense blocking shot and taking away ball reversals. He is constantly getting in passing lanes and frustrating opposing players. Jeremiah has a very bright future!
Carter Zeller Carter Zeller 6'6" | PF Fargo North | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-5 G| Fargo North – He is a very strong player that crashes the glass and he scores many second-chance points for his team. Carter is great at finishing through contact and hitting his free-throw shots. It seems like he grabs every defensive rebound. Zeller has an excellent feel for getting his hands on the ball.
Daniel Yorke Daniel Yorke 6'1" | SG Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-1 G| Fargo Davies – He picks up full court on D and always defends the opponent’s primary ball-handler. Yorke is a great teammate that is always looking to get his guys involved in some way. Daniel had timely buckets in the semifinals and championship. He always plays under control. Mr. Yorke had a very nice weekend.
15U Selects Hoeg record 2-2
They started a little rusty and lost the first game to SW MN Stars. They bounced back quickly and beat the #1 seed ND Attack Green. Next, they met the 15U ECI Prospects. They battled and led for much of the second half, they came up a little short and lost by 7. They finished the tournament with a win over Pentagon Schoolers Vincent.
Standout Players
Lewis Jones (2024) |5-8 G| Goodridge/Grygla (MN) – He is a feisty and strong guard. Jones always defends the opposing team’s best player. He hit multiple big 3-pointers and mi-range shots throughout the tournament.
Logan Conklin Logan Conklin 6'5" | SF Minot | 2024 ND (2024) |6-2 G| Minot – He is a tough-nosed kid that always plays the right way. Logan took multiple charges and rebounded at a high level. He scored a ton at the rim and also knocked down 3-pointers.
Lucas Kupfer Lucas Kupfer 6'5" | SF Bismarck Legacy | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-3 F| Bismarck Legacy – A smooth player that was one of the main scorers for his team. He is lefthanded and very crafty. Lucas got to the rim and finished well. He is a solid rebounder with long arms.
15U Selects Voltz record 2-2 (lost in Championship)
They played solidly all weekend and came up short against ND Attack twice. They had a nice showing in the championship and lead for a good part of the game.
Standout Players
Owen Chervestad (2025) |5-10 G| Red Lake County Central – He ran the show at the PG position. He scored nicely in transition. Owen broke defenders down off the dribble with nice moves. He hit big shots throughout the weekend.
Zach Oehlke Zach Oehlke 6'3" | SG Grand Forks Red River | 2024 ND (2024) |5-10 G| Grand Forks Red River – He is a beast on the boards! Zach finished very well around the rim. He was the best defensive stopper throughout the weekend. Oehlke has a nice overall tournament.
Sam Fedorchak Sam Fedorchak 6'0" | CG Bismarck St. Mary's | 2024 State ND (2024) |5-10 G| St. Mary’s – He is a smart and hard-working player. He drilled key 3-pointers over the weekend. Sam is a high-energy player. He played solid defense and forced turnovers. Sam finished at the rim consistently.
