SubscribeDuring our three days of watching the action at the Prep Hoops Live extravaganza in Kansas City, we had a chance to see several unsigned Class of 2021 players who are still in need of a look from college recruiters. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the dynamics of recruiting, which in turn has had a real adverse effect on many 2021 prospects who are still looking. With that in mind, we’ve put together a small list of unsigned 2021 prospects who could help a college program.
Kam Bevel 6’2’ Zoski Elite: The talented shooting guard from Confluence Prep Academy is a sure-fire bucket who can score from just about anywhere on the court. He has the ability to create his own shot off the dribble with 3-point shooting range and blow-by ability. He also used his quickness and length to make some excellent defensive plays.
KJ Spiller 6’5″ KC Spurs White: A powerful wing player from Center who can play bully-ball with his physical strength to overpower defenders, yet he is skilled and can finesse them as well with his ball handling and shooting. He’s a matchup nightmare because he’s just as comfortable with the ball in his hands on the perimeter as he is in the low post.

6’5″ KC Spurs Black: An all-purpose forward from Ruskin who does a lot of things to help his team succeed. In the one game I watched, he owned the mid-range area as he dropped several buckets from the elbow area. He is a solid ball handler who will also defend multiple positions and block shots.
Ilyaas Harris Ilyaas Harris 5'11" | PG Cardinal Ritter | 2021 State MO 6’0″ St. Louis Cobras A.N.M.: A rock-solid point guard from Class 5 state champion Cardinal Ritter who has enjoyed some big scoring outings during the tournament, including one game of 30 points. He is very good at creating off the dribble and he can really operate in the pick-and-roll with his ability to get downhill or rise up to shoot the 3-pointer.
Ke’lyjah Carter 5’9″ Zoski Elite: A quick point guard from Montgomery County who plays well with a lot of pace. He has good penetrating skills with the ability to hit perimeter jumpers. He does a good job of organizing the team and playing the playmaker role while also playing very solid defense.
Jamez Richardson 6’5″ St. Louis Cobras A.N.M.: A physical power forward from Hazelwood East who was a moose around the basket throughout the weekend. He is a solid athlete who used his strength to get his position against any player of any size. He was tough to keep off the offensive boards with his power and quick second and third jump.
