One of the most impressive showings was by Team Teague from Indianapolis, a bunch of 2025 youngsters who played like seasoned vets.
Here are a few 15U standouts from opening night in Kansas City:
Jalen Haralson, 2025, Team Teague – Felder (pictured):
Haralson is one of the most physically gifted 8th graders you’ll find. He stands about 6-foot-5 and has a physically mature build. He dunks with two hands with ease, handles the ball and strokes the deep ball. He racked up 22 points against the Illinois Bears 1 and could have had quite a few more but sat a lot of the game. He has a gliding athleticism, making everything look easy.
Joseph Graves Joseph Graves 6'6" | PF RUSH Homeschool | 2024 State MO , 2024, Missouri Kings, Lighthouse Christian:
The Springfield big man showed off a ton of moves and athletic talent in the lane. He’s got a mature 6-foot-6 frame and he moves really well. He was credited with 18 points against the KC Runnin’ Rebels, but he actually had more like 24 or 26. Graves is really good at slicing through the lane to catch and score on the move.
Keenan Wiley, 2024, Iowa Barnstormers 2, Mason City:
Wiley demonstrated a beautiful stroke with three 3-pointers right off the bat against 816 Varsity – Harbison. He then showed he is no one-trick pony. He handles the ball and pushes the tempo, finding teammates on the move. He is a long 6-foot-4 guard who really crashes the boards and is a leader. He racked up 23 in the win.
Colby Kiedrowski, 2024, Between the Lines, Park Hill South:
Kiedrowski showed off some dynamic playmaking and distribution in an impressive win over KC Spurs – Silver. He’s super smooth with the ball, sees the floor, and can shoot. But what made him really stand out was his ability to penetrate and convert really tough, contested shots. Kiedrowski has the type of mental and physical toughness to excel as a true point guard.
Isaiah Bickers, 2024 816 Varsity – Harbison, Liberty North:
Bickers plays with all out energy and passion. The 6-foot guard throws his body around the court and attacks the lane relentlessly. He’s got a physical game and a powerful, athletic body to play that style. He’s quick, handles the ball and makes a ton of plays on defense.
