Is this the best team in the Midwest? This squad will be a joy to watch. They have all the pieces and tools to be an amazing team. This is a well-coached team that should compete at the highest level.

Roster:

[player_tooltip player_id="812226" first="Trey" last="Brandt"] (2022) |6-0 G| Beulah - He has great ball skills and can finish just as well with his left as his right. He is great at using ball screens and making reads off them. He played his best against better competition; his best games came in our closest games this past year. He can focus and take his game to another level against better players.

[player_tooltip player_id="968155" first="Brooks" last="Nelson"] (2022) |6-3 F| SF Christian – A big and athletic player. Brooks can slash with the best of them. Nelson can catch in rhythm and hit from mid-range and deep. He can also do work in the paint. Brooks should be a versatile defender.

Rhett Osthus (2022) |6-0 G| De Smet – He is fast latterly as a defender. Rhett can lock up on the perimeter and be an awesome defender. As an athlete he makes plays happen and he is a creator. Rhett is an opportunistic scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id="812190" first="Vance" last="Borchers"] (2022) |6-3 G| SF Roosevelt – A physical freak and specimen. Vance does have the ability to hit shots from downtown. He will make eye-popping plays all spring and summer. Keep an eye on Borchers.

[player_tooltip player_id="812196" first="Kalen" last="Garry"] (2022) |6-2 G| De Smet – A big-time scorer that can fill it up. Look for him to be a high-level recruit. Garry can do it all. He has all the skills and athleticism to play next-level hoops. He should tare it up in the AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id="968156" first="Noah" last="Behrends"] (2022) |6-6 F| Aberdeen Central – A rim protector that scares every potential rim attacker. Noah is a shot-maker who finds the open space. I like his rebounding ability. He will be the glue that keeps this squad together.

[player_tooltip player_id="812203" first="Nathan" last="Koole"] (2022) |6-8 F| SF Christian – A rebounding machine and a shot blocker. He also forces guards to pull up early. Nathan is agile, which enables him to guard all over the court. He can hit the 15-foot jumper consistently.

[player_tooltip player_id="968174" first="Tory" last="Holland"] (2022) |6-2 F| De Smet – A hustler with a great motor. He is no stranger to turning over the opposing team. Tory is a strong rebounder. He is a stud athlete. Holland is a great competitor that excels when the game is close.

Kellan Johnson (2023) |6-5 F| Pipestone - a long, rangy, and athletic wing player. Kellan should be a flexible player for the Schoolers. He will be able to guard wings and forwards. Kellan shoots it well from downtown. Look for him to be a catch-and-shoot player that will space the floor. He can also post up and finish at the rim.
