Prep Hoops stayed local this past weekend and attended the NTBA Ballin at the Beach. Who were some of the 2022 Top Performers in the event from the Myrtle Beach Sports Center ? Read more in this article right here.

[player_tooltip player_id="1088705" first="Shyheim" last="Smalls"] - Waccamaw HS (Pawleys Island) - Confidence Cougars

Smalls came up large at time today for his squad with his play. Smalls was able to score the ball from all 3 levels today with his play. Smalls creates his own shot and at times seemed most effective from mid-range or dropping a floater.

[player_tooltip player_id="1149782" first="Wesley" last="Fletcher-Cox"] - Carolina Forest HS - Confidence Cougars

Fletcher-Cox generally plays with CF Elite but this weekend he was playing with another Horry County based team in the Cougars. Fletcher-Cox is most effective around the basket just working on put-backs on the glass. Fletcher-Cox does a really good job rebounding the ball out of his area and working for position in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="930633" first="Jonah" last="Nesmith"] - Carolina Forest HS - CF Elite (pictured on front)

Nesmith moonlights with his local team and the Flight 22 organization. Nesmith a rangy small forward does his best work on the perimeter as a wing. Nesmith connected on some three pointers today and was able to stalk the baseline on occasion today.

[player_tooltip player_id="837368" first="Zakee" last="Rendell"] - Scott’s Branch HS (Summerton) - Carolina Knights

Rendell really looks to shy away from contact and plays out on the perimeter. Rendell is a quick leaper who likes to handle the ball up the floor or in transition. Rendell has a long wingspan and is a streaky shooter from behind the line. Rendell has the ability to cover a lot of ground on the floor with his long strides. Rendell plays wide receiver on the football team for the Eagles in the fall.

[player_tooltip player_id="837326" first="Heston" last="Foster"] - Virtual Academy / Home School - Carolina Ballin

Prep Hoops thought to mention Foster who didn’t play in the last game on Sunday but piled up some early numbers here at the NTBA. Foster scored 30 points in the opener vs the Carolina Sonics.
