The Middle School Divison of the event was loaded with talent. With so many prospects it was impossible to fit them all into one article. So in this article, a follow-up to our standouts Vol 2 article, we take a look at some of the standouts from the event.
Colton Knolls 6’2 SG All Vegas 2025 (featured image) – Knolls is a guy that can really shoot the ball, but he showed me a different dimension this weekend. He was tough, going inside and grabbing contested in traffic rebounds. In addition to high-level boarding, he also played solid on-ball defense and won more than his share of 50/50 balls. Love players that can do more than score, and I thought Knolls brought that this weekend.
Cassius Britt 5’2 PG Vegas Elite 2026 – It was the first time I saw Britt since Pangos camp earlier in the year. I couldn’t quite place him, then he kept making shots, and it was impossible to forget him. The jitterbug PG is a good outside shooter, capable of changing scoreboards with his 3 point ability.
DJ Hunter 5’0 PG CME 2028 – Hunter has some major wiggle. The PG showed not only the ability to control the ball with his strong hand, but to also use change of pace and direction to get by defenders.
Casen Lockridge 5’7 PG CME 2025 – Lockridge is a sleeper The lefty has a natural feel for the game, understanding when to shoot it and when to get guys involved. He also has sneaky quickness, he never seemed to be going that fast, however, he always managed to get by his defender to get a piece of the paint on his drives.
Riley Brown 5’11 SF Utah Elite 2025 – Brown has an advanced frame, with a good upper build. He is a 3 and D type who showed the ability to knock down 3’s in catch-and-shoot action.
Mckay Wells 5’7 PG Utah Elite 2025 – I was really impressed with Wells. He’s got good quickness and can play at high speeds with the ball in his hands. His ability to create separation and shoot the ball with accuracy from behind the line was perhaps his best skill.
