Louisiana Class of 2021 Signings and Commitments

This past Wednesday was National signing day across America. In Louisiana, the day came with not much fanfare. However, the state did have players from the north and south ink their national letters of intent (NLI) for their next prospective destination. We will recap the fall signings/commitments, take a look at the signings from April 14th, and review other players who made commitments in the days which followed national signing day. Fall Signings Many of the top players in Louisiana signed during the early signing period. The early sigings were highlighted by Division III and 2A Most Outstanding Player [player_tooltip player_id="530995" first="Carlos" last="Stewart"]. During the beginning of the period, the top players who did not sign early in Louisiana secured their commitment by signing their NLI. The top ranked player in Louisiana, [player_tooltip player_id="566569" first="Derrick" last="Tezeno"], signed with one of the newest members of the Western Athletic Conference, Stephen F. Austin.
