An athletic team that will play in-your-face defense. They will play fast and push the tempo. This will be a fun team to watch develop over the spring/summer.

Roster:

Comments from Coach Nate West:

[player_tooltip player_id="1167609" first="Sully" last="Ihry"] (2025) |5-10 G| West Fargo Sheyenne – Sully is a born leader and plays as a coach when on the court. He is always willing to do what needs to be done whether it is our team needing a basket in a crucial moment of the game or guarding the best player on the team.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167610" first="Matthew" last="Sem"] (2025) |5-11 G| Fargo North – Matthew is an athletic player who can do anything you ask of him on the court from scoring off the dribble to spotting up in the corner for a knockdown three. Defensively, he is great at jumping the passing lane for timely steals.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167611" first="Tony" last="Daniel Loria"] (2025) |6-4 F| West Fargo – Tony is skilled and athletic. He stands at 6’4 and can hurt teams from the wing or the paint. On defense, his length helps whether he is guarding on the ball or contesting shots.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167612" first="Drew" last="Swenson"] (2025) |5-6 G| West Fargo Sheyenne – Drew might be a smaller guard, but he is tough and a very good on-ball defender that will not back down. He is a very crafty player when it comes to finishing around the rim and shoots the 3ball well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167613" first="Eric" last="DeBoer"] (2025) |6-2 F| Fargo North – Eric is a kid who gives his all on defense. He has a pure jump shot from 15 feet all the way to the 3point line.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167614" first="Xavier" last="Ames"] (2025) |6-4 F| Fargo Davies – Xavier is a big that has a nice touch on his shots from outside or inside and will go after every rebound. He will get a body on anyone coming to the rim and his length helps him contest shots all around.

Carsten Hoff (2025) |5-9 G| Moorhead – Carsten has great confidence in his shot from anywhere on the court whether it is from deep 3 or a floater going to the basket. Carsten is also a good off-ball defender- denying passing lanes and making it difficult for his man to get the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167615" first="Tee" last="Sylling"] (2025) |6-0 G| Valley City – Tee is a player who excels at attacking the rim from the wing but when asked to play big he embraces the challenge and plays physical with great energy. He crashes the offensive rebounds with his strength and speed.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167616" first="Owen" last="Sevald"] (2025) |5-11 F| West Fargo Sheyenne – Owen is a physical presence and is a player that does not mind giving up his body for his team. He makes sure the team is not being pushed around.

Team Notes from Coach Nate West:

“We return eight players from last year’s team that posted an impressive 12-3 record with a shortened season due to Covid. This year, this group anticipates improving on last year’s success. One of our biggest team strengths will be our ability to pressure people and play with pace. This is a hard-working group that is trusting the process and our team concepts as they go into their second year together.”
