The senior (2021) class has talent spread out across the three counties. In particular, Palm Beach County had a strong group of players.

Some of the following prospects are already making preparations to play at their signed institutions. Let’s give these players one more curtain call before they head to college.

Here are my picks...

[player_tooltip player_id="818738" first="Josh" last="Minott"]- St. Andrew’s

Moreover, the Memphis signee combined for 64 points and 19 rebounds against Pine Crest and Calvary Christian Academy. Both of those schools won state championships in their respective classes. He won a state title as a junior and will go down as one of the greatest players in St. Andrew’s history.

[player_tooltip player_id="714859" first="Micah" last="Octave"] - Olympic Heights

[player_tooltip player_id="714859" first="Micah" last="Octave"] gave Olympic Heights a major boost after transferring over from Grandview Prep. The 6-foot-4 guard increased the Lions’ win total by six and decreased their losses by 16 from the previous season. Octave averaged 20.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.5 steals per game. The latter was the seventh-best mark in the state. He was named the Palm Beach 7A-6A boys basketball player of the year by the Sun Sentinel.

[player_tooltip player_id="818694" first="Chris" last="Walker"] - Wellington

Much of Wellington’s season success was a result from the play of Walker. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard averaged 21.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game on 49 percent shooting from the field. Walker doubled his scoring average from his junior season (10.6 ppg). Keep in mind this was a team that lost [player_tooltip player_id="709215" first="Marvel" last="Allen"] to Calvary Christian Academy. Walker showed he could handle the work load despite losing Allen. Wellington went 12-3 during his final season. He is signed to play for Arkansas-Little Rock.
