There were some really good bigs and wings to lead their teams to 2A state this yea. Here are some best to make the 2A field of eight:

Eric Dillinger, junior, Erie:

The 6-foot-5 junior has stepped into a leadership role on a veteran and accomplished Erie team. He averaged 15.8 points and 6.8 boards per game. He had several big scoring games this season, including 33 against Caney Valley.

[player_tooltip player_id="889500" first="Nate" last="Hawk"], senior, Valley Falls (pictured):

Hawk has been up and down as a senior, but there’s no questioning his physical ability. The lanky 6-foot-7 athlete can jump and run with the best of them. He showed what he’s capable of with 28 against Jackson Heights and 25 against Jefferson North. He has the length and spring to really disrupt things in the lane, and he can also move to the perimeter with his good hands, coordination and smooth athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id="1134453" first="Miles" last="Kitselman"], senior, Lyndon:

A big man whose game is power and athleticism, Kitselman runs the floor and clean up misses or block shots in the transition game. He’s an intimidating presence at 6-foot-5, and he has the coordination and athleticism to be a presence in the high post or on the perimeter. He won’t shoot it from deep much, but he’s a capable passer.

[player_tooltip player_id="946226" first="Harlan" last="Obioha"], senior, Hoxie:

Talk about power and athleticism. This 7-foot post is a mammoth in the lane, and he moves remarkably well for a guy this size. If he gets on the low block he’s almost unstoppable. Obioha also has good hands and good feet, to go with his unmatchable size.

[player_tooltip player_id="1070222" first="Tyus" last="Wilson"], senior, Sterling:

Wilson is a 7-0 high jumper who is committed to the Univ. of Nebraska track program. At 6-foot-6, he has the height and length to hang with just about any big man. And his ability to leap and run will be a real problem for any opponent. Wilson recorded 12 points and 12 rebounds in the sub-state final against Ellinwood, blocking five shots in shutting down the high-powered Ellinwood offense.
