With the start of the season less than two months away, there are still a number of senior combo guards and wings looking for a home at the college level. Here’s a look at the top available at those positions that are evaluating their college options.

[player_tooltip player_id="606255" first="Trace" last="Salton"], Lake Oswego

Physically tough wing that has made the transition from post player to operating from the perimeter. Uses his body well to create space and absorb contact on drives. Can overpower smaller players and has improved his outside shooting. May be pursuing a prep season to increase college recruitment.

[player_tooltip player_id="606261" first="Elijah" last="Munyan"], Gresham

High-flying wing that is arguably one of the best leapers in Oregon. Plays above the rim and is exceptional in transition. Can knock down open threes and has improved with creating off of the dribble. Currently mainly looking at JC options but has the upside to be a steal for four-year programs.

[player_tooltip player_id="855945" first="Dakota" last="Sams"], Nixyaawii

Scoring combo guard who can really knock down shots from deep. Can score by coming off of screens or creating off of the dribble. Is fully capable of creating for others (4.3 apg) as he is for himself. Recently transferred to Nixyaawii to play for his father.

[player_tooltip player_id="942245" first="James" last="Lang"], Jesuit

All-around combo guard who has been a perfect fit in the Jesuit system. Moves well without the ball to get open for catch and shoot opportunities but can also create his own shot a bit off the dribble. Heady performer that makes the right play. Could be a walk-on candidate at D-I and D-II programs.

[player_tooltip player_id="855956" first="Asher" last="Krauel"], Sherwood

Competitive combo guard who will see more time at the point as a senior. Can really shoot it from deep and get hot from three-point range, but has developed the strength to drive to the hoop and score with the floater. Javelin star who has D-I offers in track but is hoping to also play hoops in college.

[player_tooltip player_id="855936" first="Jha-Barrie" last="Portis"], Southridge

High-energy guard who makes plays on both ends of the floor. Is more of a slasher than shooter but can get hot from the perimeter. Athletic performer who will fight for rebounds and loose balls and hustle on the defensive end. Currently looking at options at the JC level.

[player_tooltip player_id="855958" first="Brett" last="Moss"], Tigard

Lanky and athletic wing that has really emerged this off-season playing club ball with Elite 24. Very good finisher at the rim in transition and can score hitting outside shots or creating off of the dribble. Active defender. High-academic student who has garnered interest at the D-III level.

[player_tooltip player_id="855946" first="Trent" last="Templeton"], David Douglas

Classic hustle guy that plays extremely hard on the defensive end. Physical perimeter defender and will win more than his share of 50/50 balls. Strong lefty at getting to the hoop and finishing with contact. Improving consistency with his perimeter shooting.
