Underrated Gems from the Gem State pt. 2

<p>Welcome back to another installment of "Underrated Gems from the Gem State." Today, I will be bringing you a handful of talented players that have received little to no recognition for their skills and abilities on the court. It is quite a shame that many players from Idaho go overlooked, but I am here to be a light for those that remain in the struggle. Hopefully reading this article will allow any and all players to have some exposure to the great, big, basketball world out there. Continue reading for a look at some underrated players from the state of Idaho.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="921093" first="Ethan" last="Butler"],</strong> <strong>Sandpoint:</strong> Ethan is a 6’5" power forward for the Sandpoint Bulldogs. Sandpoint struggled this season but Ethan was a bright spot that led the team with his defensive efforts. He is a solid rim protector for his size and he does an excellent job of defending post players that are taller and bigger than he is. Butler also has solid post moves on the offensive end and can stretch the floor when needed. Ethan will be a key returner for Sandpoint in the upcoming season as they look to improve their record and bring their winning traditions back to reality.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1108114" first="Wade" last="Zenner"], Timberline:</strong> It seems that the Zenner family has been producing solid basketball players for decades at this point, but Wade is a stand-out player among his siblings. Zenner has a great feeling for the game and he does a. great job as a floor general for Timberline. He has a solid jumper and he finishes well at the rim, especially in transition. Wade is a great overall basketball talent and he will be continuing to build his skills in the upcoming seasons.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="923087" first="Aidan" last="McGarvin"], Bishop Kelly:</strong> Aidan is a member of a tough Bishop Kelly team that routinely finds ways to pull out close victories. McGarvin plays the game with skill and confidence and he always finds a way to make a big impact on the game. Defensively he brings lots of energy and is always in passing lanes. Offensively, he can score a bucket when the time comes and he is a clutch performer as well.</p>
