STATE TOURNAMENT: Class 3A All-Tournament Team

He showcased a smooth jumper that looked much better than the 25.8% from 3 he shot during the regular season, with range well beyond the high school line. He was great in both games, putting up 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in the quarterfinal win over Dallas Center-Grimes and exploding for 33 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 steals in the loss to Ballard in the semifinals. The big, physical guard was able to get to the bucket and stretch the floor, and he knocked down 12 of 15 free throws during the week. He was great in the semifinal win over Assumption, finishing with 22 points and 11 rebounds.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="682282" first="Karl" last="Miller"], Pella (2022)</strong><br /> <em>Stats: 12.0 points, 46.4 FG%, 42.9 3P%, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals</em></p> <p>Miller was excellent in the 3A championship win, going for 14 points on 4-6 shooting (3-3 3P), 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. The 6-4 junior wing has always been talented but has had a lot of injuries to contend with.
