Some really good players wrapped up their careers in the middle of Kansas. Take one more look at these great seniors:

Buhler had its season ended in a heartbreaking 57-54 loss to McPherson. Alexander will be missed for his intensity and leadership as one of the top scoring point guards in the state. Alexander poured in 14 in his final game.

[player_tooltip player_id="962478" first="Jayden" last="Garrison"], Little River:

A lot has been written on Prep Hoops about this special multi-sport athlete. But he deserves to be remembered for the leadership and competitiveness he gave the Redskins over the years. He was a quarterback on the football field, and he used those same talents to make plays, and make his teammates better, on the court. The 1A all-state returner averaged 24.4 points as a senior.

Caleb Gilliland, Sacred Heart (Salina):

Sacred Heart was really good this year, but they had their season cut short by Hutch Trinity. Gilliland didn’t go down without a fight, scoring 20 in his final game. He averaged 14.7 points, while also turning in about 3 assists and 3 steals per game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1070200" first="Josh" last="Jordan"], Salina South:

The versatile and consistent guard ran into a tough matchup when Salina South faced top-ranked Hays in sub-state. Jordan was a leader at both the point and off-guard spots. He averaged 15.4 points and 5.2 rebounds, and his team-first style produced 2.6 assists too.

Braedon Mercer, Marion:

Marion had a tough season, but Mercer did all he could. The 6-foot-1 senior averaged 15.9 points and 8.4 rebounds. He was good at both ends of the floor, averaging 3.1 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id="602176" first="Drew" last="Nicholson"], Hoisington:

The 6-foot-7 forward returned as a 3A all-stater and was special for the Cardinals again. He averaged 19 points and 6.5 rebounds. His career came to a close with 23 points in a tough loss to Hugoton.

Dalyn Schwarz, Hays:

The 6-foot-6 Schwarz wasn’t the only star for the Indians, so his numbers may pale in comparison to some others. But he was a big reason why Hays spent a lot of the seaons ranked #1 in the state in 5A. He averaged 11.8 points and 5.7 boards.

[player_tooltip player_id="1070222" first="Tyus" last="Wilson"], Sterling:

The elite high jumper was a difference maker for Sterling. At times he was scoring huge numbers, but even when he didn’t, his defense alone could dominate a game.
