Surprises were minimal in the Sweet Sixteen level qualifiers but quality performances weren’t. Saturday’s Best? Here are the names to know.

PHD Playoff Central. The State Tournament. The games are SF Washington vs Aberdeen Central and SF O’Gorman vs Harrisburg on the top half, and Yankton vs Mitchell as well as SF Roosevelt vs Brandon Valley on the bottom half. What team is looking at these seeds and thinking.... unfair! One would maybe say Yankton but they have beaten Mitchell before plus Brandon Valley and Harrisburg beat them earlier in the year. So when you really look around at the pairings I would say most of these teams are fine with what’s in front of them.

Tip of Hat to the Career. [player_tooltip player_id="757858" first="Micah" last="Swallow"]. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Rapid City Central. Swallow’s season may be over but he went out fighting. Swallow had had 24 points and 15 rebounds in the loss to Aberdeen Central.
