<p>Yesterday, Scotland Hoops hosted the Great Atlantic Conference Championship Tournament in Scotland, PA. The event included some of the best prep programs from the area. Here are the key standouts from Day 1 of the event. <br />
<br />
<strong>Cameron Tweedy</strong>, 6’6" Wing, 2021, Olympus Prep (Grey) - Cam was one of the most impressive prospects in the gym. The solid-built forward was able to beat defenders in a variety of ways. He led the way with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists. He had a number of explosive dunks showcasing his athletic ability.<br />
<br />
<strong>Kyle Braun</strong>, 6’3" Point Guard, 2021, Scotland Campus (Red) - The Marshall commit is a knock-down shooter who can beat defenses off the dribble or from the catch. He’s a sneaky athlete who plays scrappy team defense and does the little things to make the opposing team uncomfortable. He finished with 10 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals.<br />

<strong>Sam Ihekwoaba</strong>, 6’5" Guard, 2021, Scotland Campus (Red) - The physical guard came out strong to start the game. He played in attack mode on the block, off the dribble, and from the perimeter. He finished the day with 15 points, 2, rebounds, and 3 assists. He made his presence known early.<br />

[player_tooltip player_id="902009" first="Jedy" last="Cordilia"], 6’9" Forward, 2021, West Nottingham - The Mount St. Mary’s commit really impressed during their contest with a very competitive Scotland (Red) team. The versatile forward finished the day with 27 points and 8 rebounds. Jedy’s soft touch in the paint, footwork, and length was on display throughout the game.<br />
<br />
<strong>Amir "Primo" Spears</strong>, 6’2" Point Guard, 2021, Mount Zion Prep - Primo is lightning quick with the ball in his hands. He was able to get to his spots on the floor and connect on a number of shots. Primo was the team’s second-leading scorer with 21 points. He also added 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.<br />
<br />
[player_tooltip player_id="1049550" first="Garfield" last="Turner"], 6’8" Power Forward, 2021 - Garfield made an immediate impact off the bench. His knack for locating and rebound the ball were most impressive. The senior made his presence known finishing with 25 points and 19 rebounds (11 offensive) off the bench. <br />
