McDavid All-American Camp: Top Class of 2027 Performers
Rock Hill, SC — This past weekend I attended the McDavid All-American Camp that played host to some of the top middle school prospects from across the United States. I mainly focused on the kids from 6th to 8th grade and will be providing coverage from those three age groups. Below is a look at some of the top 6th graders from the camp.
T.T. Gibson | North Carolina | Class of 2027
Gibson was the most dominant player in the 6th grade and showed off his advanced skill-set on Saturday. He is already standing at 6’0 and still has a lot of growth ahead of him which will ultimately provide even more upside than he already has. Gibson has a smooth jumper with range extending much past the three point line. Gibson had 16 points during my evaluation of him.
Tyrie Pressley | North Carolina | Class of 2027
Pressley was one of the more active players in the 6th grade division and helped his team whenever he was on the court. He brings a ton of production on both sides of the ball and brings a lot of versatility offensively and defensively because of his size. Pressley finished with 12 points and hauled in 8 rebounds in my viewing of him on Saturday.
Isaiah Trelles | Florida | Class of 2027
Trelles was one of the more dynamic scorers from the class of 2027 at the McDavid All-American Camp. The Florida native is as scrappy as they get and showed how tough of a player he can be. Whether it was scoring from running floaters, finishing in traffic with contact or showing off his jumper, Trelles showed off a complete scoring package and is one to watch from the Sunshine State.
Ashton Graves | Indiana | Class of 2027
I was shocked when I learned Graves was in 6th grade after watching him during the skill work portion of the camp. Graves has length that you would likely see in an 8th grader and is already passing the basketball at a high level. Out of all of the prospects at the McDavid All-American Camp, Graves was definitely one of the top distributors. Look for Graves to be a high level prospect from the state of Indiana in the coming years.
Tyson Sharper | Georgia | Class of 2027
Sharper is a name to remember from the 2027 class out of Georgia. Sharper looks to become a big guard once he reaches the high school level and already is playing with an advanced basketball IQ. He plays with good energy and was one of the most vocal leaders on Saturday as he was constantly talking on defense.
