Josh Reeves (Golden City): The 6’1 shooting guard scored 22 points and hit six 3-pointers in the Golden Eagles’ victory over Lockwood in the Class 1, District 5 championship game. With his team trailing by seven after one quarter, he really got his team rolling with four triples in the second quarter. He now has made a school-record 84 3-pointers.
Rico Coleman (Charleston): The 6’3 guard scored a team-high 16 points to lead the Bluejays to a xx victory over Saxony Lutheran in the Class 3, District 2 championship game. The multi-talented Coleman has stepped into a prime-time role as a sophomore for a team in transition after some heavy graduation losses from last year’s Final Four team.
Cooper Wilken (Weaubleau): The 5’10” guard completed his excellent sophomore season with a team-high 18 points in a 73-66 loss to Lakeland in the Class 2, District 13 tournament. Cooper had a very good season shooting the basketball and he will return to lead a very young Weaubleau team that has a very bright future.
