The event featured over 17 Nevada-based programs and offered an opportunity for players to gain some long-overdue exposure. It also featured several players in the class of 2024 making a positive impact on the event. Let’s take a look at our top 10 from the event. Note: These rankings are based on player’s performance from the Cedar City Showcase event only.
- Khaman Maker Khaman Maker 7'1" | C Trinity | 2024 State #127 Nation NV 7’1 C LV Shooters (#2PHN 2024) – Was dominant on the defensive end. Expect him to get 5 blocks just for showing up to the game.
- Alijah Adem Alijah Adem 6'2" | PG Spring Valley | 2024 State #174 Nation NV 6’1 PG Chosen Few (#7PHN 2024) – Thought he was good against good competition. Adem showed that he can score the basketball, as well as carry a team. Part of a loaded PG class.
- Jamison McCall Jamison McCall 6'0" | CG Spring Valley | 2024 State NV 5’11 CG Chosen Few (#10PHN 2024) – Can’t overlook his shooting. McCall is a dynamic floor spacer that is slowly finding other ways to score.
- Pharaoh Compton Pharaoh Compton 6'7" | PF Arbor View | 2024 State #74 Nation NV 6’5 PF LV Loyalty – Simply overpowered opponents on Saturday. I give him credit for coming back and competing in the Varsity division on Sunday as well.
- Graydon Lemke Graydon Lemke 6'10" | PF Faith Lutheran | 2024 State NV 6’5 PF Team Rogue – Showed a little of bit of grit. Despite playing against physical competition, Lemke showed a crafty ability to score, and shoot the ball.
- Immanuel Reed Immanuel Reed 5'7" | PG Sierra Vista | 2024 State NV 5’7 PG Blue Hoops (featured image) – Paint touch getter and willing defender. Future is bright for the Blue Hoops PG.
- Tony Williams Tony Williams 5'11" | CG Mojave | 2024 State NV 5’11 PG DIG – Came from out of nowhere to put his name on the map as one of the top shooters in his class.
- Khamari Taylor Khamari Taylor 5'11" | CG Desert Oasis | 2024 State NV 5’11 CG LV Shooters – Uber quick guard showed he can break people down off the bounce as well as get to the rim and finish.
- Jordan Lawson Jordan Lawson 6'2" | SG Faith Lutheran | 2024 State NV 6’2 SG Team Rogue – He has a good frame and as he learns to finish a little more efficiently, will become a problem. Good looking prospect to keep an eye on.
- Anthony Nwuli Anthony Nwuli 6'5" | PF Durango | 2024 UT 6’6 PF LV Loyalty (#11PHN 2024) – Showed good vision and excellent skill passing the ball.
