The Big Shots Prep Nationals showcased a ton of talent on the prep level from the state of North Carolina. Here's a look at Part I of the Standouts.

[player_tooltip player_id="848067" first="Patrick" last="Wessler"] | 6'10 Forward/Center | Combine Academy | 2022

Wessler was a brickwall in the paint against Moravian Prep and it showed as he racked up 26 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks en route to their Platinum Division title victory. He showed his abilities as a rim protector and a finisher in the paint. He's an emerging prospect in the 2022 class that continues to grow. He holds offers from Virginia Tech, East Carolina, Creighton, South Florida, Ole Miss, Charlotte, Elon and Wake Forest.

[player_tooltip player_id="854888" first="Robert" last="Dillingham"] | 6'1 Point Guard | Combine Academy | 2023

Dillingham was stellar on both ends of the floor, showing his developing all-around game as a complete player in the process. He's a young point guard prospect that's checked all the boxes so far when other top competitors are put in front of him. He's a three-level scorer, high-level passer and next level defender with a bright future in the class with offers from Vanderbilt, UNC, DePaul, Clemson, Florida, Kansas and other high major programs.

[player_tooltip player_id="574405" first="AJ" last="Smith"] | 6'5 Wing/Guard | Combine Academy | 2022

Smith was another top performer in Combine Academy's quest to the Platinum Division crown. He's a strong two-way wing prospect that's a burden to guard off the bounce and even more of a presence on the defensive end. He's a prospect that earned an offer from Vanderbilt after the event. Texas A&M, Hampton, Rice, Charlotte, William & Mary and App State have also offered.

[player_tooltip player_id="992474" first="Mikey" last="Williams"] | 6'2 Guard | Lake Norman Christian | 2023

Williams was an impressive guard prospect for Lake Norman Christian showing off his ability to create off the bounce on all three levels and his ability to create without the ball in his hands. He went off for 28 points and three made 3-pointers against Word of God in his best performance of the event where the Storm won 90-75. He continues to show why he's highly sought after with a number

[player_tooltip player_id="947287" first="Trey" last="Green"] | 5'10 Point Guard | Lake Norman Christian | 2023

Green had a quite opening game against Moravian Prep at Prep Nationals but he bounced back in their final two contests, showing off his prowess as a playmaker, defender and perimeter threat. He knocked a total of five 3-pointers including three against Word of God, to lead the Storm backcourt trio of talented 2023 guards. They're going to give some teams problems as they build chemistry together.

[player_tooltip player_id="838019" first="BJ" last="Freeman"] | 6'6 Wing/Forward | Moravian Prep | 2021

Freeman finished out as a top scorer in the Platinum Division in leading Moravian Prep to the championship game. He produced 18.3 ppg including 23 points against Lake Norman while showing off his ability to be a threat from all three levels. His most lethal asset is his ability to get to the rim. He's a top available prospect in the 2021 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="838029" first="Jordan" last="Wildy"] | 6'9 Forward | Winston-Salem Christian | 2021

Wildy was a consistent face in the Winston-Salem Christian lineup that scored on all three levels, defended well and protected the paint. He put up 11.3 ppg including 21 points and two 3-pointers despite their two-point overtime loss to iSchool of Lewisville. He'll be a huge addition in the fall to the Iona University rotation

[player_tooltip player_id="1028008" first="Christian" last="Cornish"] | 6'5 Wing/Guard | Winston-Salem Christian

Cornish is one of the more underrated defenders in the 2022 class in the Winston-Salem Christian rotation. He's got nice length and a ton of strength that he uses well on both ends to make his presence felt. As he learns to be more aggressive with opportunities, look for his stock to grow.

[player_tooltip player_id="577841" first="Freddie" last="Dilione"] | 6'5 Guard | Word of God

Dilione was one of a few bright spots in the Word of God rotation as he showed off his ability to attack off the bounce and shoot the 3-ball off the catch. He averaged 17.7 ppg including 25 points against Lake Norman Christian where he knocked down three 3-pointers. As he improves his consistency from the perimeter, his stock is due to grow a ton. He holds offers already from Penn State, FIU and Eastern Kentucky.

[player_tooltip player_id="533518" first="Elijah" last="Jamison"] | 6'3 Point Guard | Liberty Heights

Jamison was relentless in showing off his ability to make plays when the ball came his way in the Liberty Heights rotation. He went off for 22 points against Word of God in their opening round victory of the Platinum Division Championship. He's a strong two-way guard with a ton of promise as a floor general. He holds offers from East Carolina, Wichita State, Middle Tennessee, UNC-Wilmington, Elon and Ole Miss.
