The 2021 basketball season has officially ended and players are focusing on where to go to college. St. Augustine forward [player_tooltip player_id="900318" first="John" last="Horner"] is off the board as he will be at Florida State as a preferred walk-on. St. Thomas Aquinas forward [player_tooltip player_id="850512" first="Josh" last="Rivera"] is available, but he will be doing a postgrad year and will reclassify into 2022. Non-Public A is still filled with talented players who have not yet committed to college. Here are the top available prospects in Non-Public A.

[player_tooltip player_id="900357" first="Nicolo" last="Nobili"], 6’9 PF Paul VI

Nobili may have only played for the Eagles for two seasons, but he was still able to make his mark. The Italian native plays with great footwork in the post and knows how to finish through contact. Nobili is also a skilled passer and his range extends out to the three-point line. He is a strong rebounder and is a solid post defender. Nobili may go the prep route, but he is a talented post player with a versatile offensive game.

[player_tooltip player_id="900290" first="DiAri" last="Duncan"], 6’8 PF Bergen Catholic

The Crusaders are a perimeter-oriented team, but they have a good post option in Duncan. The 6’8 forward plays with physicality down low and does not mind mixing it up. Duncan has a nice touch around the basket and sets good screens in the half court. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is a strong post defender. Duncan is a rugged, post prospect who will provide a team with toughness and energy.

[player_tooltip player_id="900324" first="Jaylen" last="Boyd-Savage"], 6’3 CG Paul VI

Nobili is not the only Paul VI prospect available as Boyd-Savage is still on the board. The 6’3 combo guard has a nice handle and knows how to finish around the basket. Boyd-Savage can make shots through contact and is a good shooter from distance. He is a tough on-ball defender and makes good decisions with the ball in his hands. Boyd-Savage is a two-way guard who will make his team better with his ability to impact the game.

[player_tooltip player_id="900384" first="Danny" last="Lans"], 6’0 CG St. Joseph (Mont.)

Lans was tasked with a larger scoring role in 2021 for the Green Knights and he answered the call. The athletic combo guard is capable of catching lobs above the rim and is a good finisher around the basket. Lans is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He is capable of running the offense in a pinch and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Lans was selected as a nominee for the McDonald’s All-American Game, which shows how talented of a player he is.

[player_tooltip player_id="1012964" first="Joe" last="Carroll"], 6’7 SF/PF Don Bosco Prep

Carroll played on a talented Ironmen front court, where he was able to establish his own niche. The 6’7 forward knows how to get position down low and is a good finisher around the rim. Carroll can handle the ball on the perimeter and his range extends out to the three-point line. He is an underrated passer and is a strong rebounder. Carroll’s ability to play multiple positions in the front court makes him an intriguing prospect in Bergen County.
