The final update of the 2021 MD/DC rankings have been published and now it is time to breakdown the rankings. Below are the top ten point guards in the MD/DC 2021 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="531258" first="Jalen" last="Miller"] | 6’2 | Rutgers

Rutgers found a great fit in Miller who has been playing his best basketball over the past year and a half. Look for Miller to be a solid contributor for the Scarlet Knights as soon as he gets on campus.

[player_tooltip player_id="902001" first="Ryan" last="Conway"] | 6’0 | Seton Hall

Conway is one of the top scoring point guards in the Mid Atlantic Region and has scored at a high level against some of the top competition all throughout high school. I don’t expect that to chance once he enrolls into Seton Hall.

[player_tooltip player_id="1106797" first="Primo" last="Spears"] | 6’1 | Undecided

Spears is the highest rated point guard from the MD/DC 2021 class that has still not found a college home but look for that to change in the coming months. Whoever lands Spears will be getting a guard that can be highly effective on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="775338" first="Elijah" last="Hawkins"] | 5’9 | Howard

Hawkins was one of the biggest stock risers in the 2021 class over the past year and decided to stay close to home for college and commit to Howard University. Howard is getting one of the best on ball defenders from the local 2021 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="712769" first="Jalen" last="Bryant"] | 5’11 | Undecided

Bryant comes in as the second highest rated point guard that has yet to commit anywhere to play college basketball. His recruitment is a little unknown at the moment but Bryant is a guard that can do a variety of things on offense and is coming off a solid senior year campaign at John Carroll.

[player_tooltip player_id="1049551" first="Ismail" last="Habib"] | 6’0 | Austin Peay

Habib had a nice senior season for Bishop Walsh and continued to get better as the year went on. Austin Peay is getting a guard that is currently playing his best basketball and a reliable shot maker.

[player_tooltip player_id="775329" first="Michael" last="Aiken"] | 5’9 | Undecided

Aiken is another point guard prospect that remains uncommitted but will be a steal to whatever program is able to snag him. Aiken will provide a hard work ethic at the next level and do whatever it takes to help you win games.

[player_tooltip player_id="836524" first="Antoine" last="Jacks"] | 5’10 | Fairleigh Dickinson

Jacks is the most recent pledge from the DMV to give his signature to Fairleigh Dickinson who has found success recruiting in the DMV. Jacks was one of the main contributors to help the rebuild at Good Counsel and knows what it takes to play at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id="902040" first="Trae" last="English"] | 5’11 | Undecided

English has yet to decide on a college home but whoever lands him will be getting a player that will immediately bring the Baltimore toughness with him to college. English will bring a winning culture to the college level because that is all he is used to being from Baltimore Poly.

[player_tooltip player_id="904668" first="Elijah" last="Davis"] | 6’0 | Mississippi Valley

Davis is another point guard from Baltimore that comes from a winning program in St. Frances. Davis has played a crucial role for the success in St. Frances this year and should do big things at Mississippi Valley State.
