Which 2022 prospects were able to play well this season and separate themselves from the pack? Prep Hoops Wisconsin lists seven juniors who boosted their stock in the 2020-21 campaign:

[player_tooltip player_id="1129756" first="Seth" last="Trimble"] -- PG -- Menomonee Falls

Trimble really did take his game to another level this season. The point guard proved that he can score, shoot, pass, and make athletic plays on the defensive end of the court. Missouri, Wisconsin, and California have all recently offered roster spots to the Menomonee Falls standout.

[player_tooltip player_id="801149" first="Jackson" last="Paveletzke"] -- PG -- Kimberly

In his junior season, Paveletzke proved that he is the cream of the crop in Wisconsin’s 2022 class. The Kimberly point guard averaged 19.2 points and 6.1 assists per game. UW-Green Bay has recently recognized Paveletzke’s talent by offering him a scholarship.

[player_tooltip player_id="950096" first="Donovan" last="Short"] -- PF -- Denmark

Because Short doesn’t play for a powerhouse school in Milwaukee or Madison, I don’t think that he gets enough credit for how great he truly is. The 6-foot-8 power forward averaged 18.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2 assists per contest. After a big summer, I expect Short to have a lot of attention from top college programs.

[player_tooltip player_id="761419" first="Ashton" last="Janowski"] -- PG -- Pewaukee

I was very impressed with the maturity that Janowski played with this season. Even though the point guard is just a junior, he made clutch plays and was never selfish. Janowski certainly isn’t the most flashy prospect in the state, but he is a winner that will make a great college player.

[player_tooltip player_id="761404" first="Leon" last="Bond"] -- SF -- Wauwatosa East

I love Bond’s game. The small forward is not a lights-out scorer, but he does pretty much everything else at an elite level. He is a very dangerous weapon in transition because of his insane athletic ability. He also is one of the better defenders that the state has to offer. Playing for JH1 Elite, look for Bond to have another huge AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id="761417" first="Danilo" last="Jovanovich"] -- PF -- Whitnall

Jovanovich is going to be a superstar. The power forward has no holes in his game. He is an effective slasher, good shooter, and crafty scorer in the post. This season, Jovanovich scored 22 points per game while leading his team to a 15-6 record.

[player_tooltip player_id="801139" first="Christopher" last="Morgan"] -- PG -- Kaukauna

After taking a backseat to older guards last season, Morgan took over the ship in the 2020-21 season. The point guard scored 20.8 points per game in his standout junior campaign. Look for Morgan to become a real problem if he continues to get better and improve.
