The event took place on February 6th and 7th at the Ladera Ranch Sports Complex in South Orange County. The event which was open to 12u, 13u, and 14u teams, featured competitive pool play, and a championship bracket. It also featured several high-level rebounders. In this article, we take a look at the top Glass Cleaners from the event.
Tyrell Miller 6’5 PF Team AON 2025 – Miller was a throwback post this week. He used his physical frame to carve out space and gobble up boards. He’s tough to move from his base and he has soft enough hands to grab in traffic rebounds cleanly.
Braxton Caruso 6’4 C Sneaker Steal 2027 – Caruso’s sheer size was a problem. He grabbed a ton of rebounds flatfooted, seemingly towering over opponents. He showed strong hands, allowing him to snatch the ball cleanly with other players around him.
Jerimiah Profit 6’0 SF Game Point 2026 – Profit was fun to watch and his rebounding played a big part. He has great length but is also a fluid and agile athlete. I was impressed with his ability to grab both in traffic and out of area boards at a high clip.
Deandre Harrison 6’2 SF AEBC 2025 – Best second jump I saw from any athlete on the day. Harrison has a quick burst and was able to get taps and putbacks using his skill. Big time physical specimen that grabbed a ton of offensive boards this weekend.
Zander Werner 6’3 C Tuscon Select 2025 – Werner did a lot of the dirty work this weekend. A high motor player, he battled against bigger players, while using his quickness to retrieve missed shots. He was one of the more fundamental players, as he used position and block-outs to shield opponents from the glass.
Koa Peat 6’7 PF AEBC 2025 – There’s a lot of categories you could add Peat to, but it would be impossible to ignore his rebounding. He rebounded alone most games, snagging the ball at its highest point. His combination of size, timing, and strength made it impossible for anyone to compete with him on the backboards.
Jayden Gray 6’0 SG SD Prospects 2026 – Gray matched physicality with effort. A high motor guy the 6’0 guard relentlessly pursued the basketball. In addition to his second jump, he was able to carve out space and outwork opponents for in-traffic rebounds. The ultimate hard hat guy, Gray never missed an opportunity to grab an errant shot.
