Week 12 is underway and we have got a big slate of high school hoops going on this week in Indiana. Let us dive on in and take a look at some highlights of Tuesday’s night of hoops.

Brown moves up in scoring list

Last night saw Blackford defeat Northwestern in a blowout 63-41. The leading scorer of the night was senior guard, and Stetson commit, [player_tooltip player_id="647199" first="Luke" last="Brown"] dropping 33 points and moving up to 5th-place all-time in Indiana High School boys basketball history. Brown passed Brody Boyd (2,632) and now has 2,635 total points so far. The next goal for Brown to pass is now 3,002 points, which is held by New Albany legend and current NBA star Romeo Langford. With Blackford (14-4) having at least 5 more games left this season and looking to have a deep run in the post-season, there is a realistic chance that Brown could potentially move up to 4th in the all-time scoring. Blackford will host Oak Hill on Friday.

Konieczny breaks school record

In a 24-point victory over Concord, South Bend St. Joseph was able to pick up the dominate win 64-40. Notre Dame commit [player_tooltip player_id="647193" first="Douglas" last="Konieczny"] had an outstanding night with dropping 37 points. To add onto what was arguably the best night of his high school career, Konieczny broke the school record and became the all-time leading scorer in St. Joseph school history. He passed Chris Quinn’s 1,700 point mark and with 6 more games in the regular season to go, plus the post-season, Konieczny will continue to add to that record. Up next, the Indians will travel to Mishawaka Marian on Friday.

Center Grove gets huge win over Zionsville

The Center Grove Trojans were able to pick up arguably their biggest win of the season when they defeated the Zionsville Eagles 49-33, last night. The Trojans pretty much controlled the whole game with Zionsville having a few runs here and there to cut the lead down at times. Tyler Cerny and [player_tooltip player_id="769658" first="Tayven" last="Jackson"] were the leading scorers for the Trojans with 13 points each with other scoring coming from their teammates like [player_tooltip player_id="804853" first="Ethan" last="Jones"] with 10 points and [player_tooltip player_id="874190" first="Landin" last="Hacker"] with 8. On the Zionsville side, [player_tooltip player_id="868255" first="Logan" last="Imes"] led the Eagles with 14 points. With the win, Center Grove improves to 10-5 on the year and will travel to Lawrence Central on Friday. Zionsville, now 12-6, will host Lebanon on Friday.
