<p>The high school season is slowly coming to a close and a few top matchups happened on Tuesday night. Here's a look at the results of some big games and a look at the latest commitments in the 2021 class.</p>
<h5>Big Results from Tuesday night</h5>
<p>Carmel Christian edged out The Burlington School 90-81 to notch their 14th-straight win in the regular season. [player_tooltip player_id="642043" first="Ben" last="Burnham"] played big in the frontcourt with 32 points and 15 rebounds while [player_tooltip player_id="574430" first="Justin" last="Taylor"] chipped in with 19 points and 11 assists to pace the Cougars to yet another victory over a tough NCISAA opponent. They overcame 22 points from [player_tooltip player_id="838021" first="Jamarii" last="Thomas"] to secure the victory. They’re a heavy favorite to win it all when the NCISAA 4A State Playoffs arrive.</p>
<p>Combine Academy got a big win over Lake Norman Christian on Tuesday night as well, 90-70. [player_tooltip player_id="854888" first="Robert" last="Dillingham"] put up 19 points and seven assists while [player_tooltip player_id="574405" first="AJ" last="Smith"] finished with 18 points and six rebounds as the physicality of Combine wore down Lake Norman by the end of things. [player_tooltip player_id="992474" first="Mikey" last="Williams"] still posted a game-high 24 points despite the result but the nationally-ranked Goats showed their strength with their size and depth.</p>
<h5>Latest Commitments</h5>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="574435" first="Jaden" last="Ellis"] : Army-West Point</strong></p>
<p>His ranking is currently at #69 coming out the spring/summer months, but that’s due to go up as a new update approaches on Feb. 15. [player_tooltip player_id="574435" first="Jaden" last="Ellis"] didn’t waste any time making his commitment known this past week after earning an offer from Army. He’ll be a fine prospect at the next level.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="932457" first="Jarvis" last="Moss"]: Stanford</strong></p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="932457" first="Jarvis" last="Moss"] is the #21 ranked prospect in the 2021 class and one of the top shooters in the state. He’ll add a ton of ability on the wing for the Cardinal in the Pac-12 with his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter and get to the rim. He’s yet another top prospect in the class of the board.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1006290" first="Jay" last="Mitchell"]: Converse College </strong></p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1006290" first="Jay" last="Mitchell"] is the #41 ranked prospect in the state on PrepHoopsNC that has a ton of athleticism and skills in the backcourt. He should make an impact right away in the Converse rotation with his ability to make an impact and play with a ton of energy. </p>
