Teams To Watch In Playoffs: 7A

<p>With the regular season coming to a close and team gearing up for what they hope are deep playoff runs, we take a look at some of the top teams all season long in their respective classes.</p> <p>Up first are the big boys of the top class in the state 7A. These teams have been putting in work all season long and hope to cap it off with a state championship.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Fairhope</strong></span></p> <p>After dropping their first contest of the season just last week some would look at it as a loss they could use to refocus and propel them to their ultimate goal. If that is to happen it will be in big part due to the duo of 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="886965" first="Riley" last="Leonard"] and 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="725165" first="Hunter" last="Ivy"]. These guys have been leading the pirates all season long and hope to go on a new winning strake that leads to Birmingham.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Spain Park</strong></span></p> <p>They started off the season red hot and after a couple of tough losses they once again look like a top team to beat going forward. One of the main reasons they can make it is because of the recent play of [player_tooltip player_id="801037" first="Cameron" last="Crawford"]. He has turned it on over the last month or so putting up huge scoring performances. [player_tooltip player_id="965768" first="Colin" last="Turner"] also looks to be a huge part of this run as he has anchored the paint all season long.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Hoover</strong></span></p> <p>The Bucs have been flying under the radar, for the most part, all season long with the emergence of Spain Park and Vestavia Hills right in their neck of the woods. But Alabama A&amp;M signee [player_tooltip player_id="887008" first="DJ" last="Fairley"] has been doing his thing all season long with the help of sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id="887033" first="Colby" last="Carter"] and Mr. Do-it-all [player_tooltip player_id="887035" first="Shun" last="Sheffield"]. They are also looking to make a run up the road to the BJCC.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Vestavia Hills</strong></span></p> <p>With a recent hot streak playing very well lead by super sophomore [player_tooltip player_id="971994" first="Win" last="Miller"] the Rebels are looking like a true contender. With a talent as good as Win leading your team, it’s going to be imperative for guys like [player_tooltip player_id="1125848" first="William" last="Orkus"], [player_tooltip player_id="1125847" first="Jude" last="Cleary"], and others to step up and continue to knock down shots as they have all season long.</p>
