Richmond County Freshman Paul McNeil Paul McNeil 6'6" | SG Richmond County | 2024 State #172 Nation NC Jr is next up !! He doesn’t play like a freshman at all and gave all sorts of problems to a Heritage squad that features an ACC signee. He has good height at 6’4-6’5, a long wingspan and a calmness that you just don’t see from youngsters.
Richmond County Senior Forward Nygie Stroman Nygie Stroman 6'7" | C Richmond County | 2021 State NC had a huge game, especially in the first half going for 20 Points to help give his squad an early lead. Stroman is one of the top Forwards that’s still available and would be a nice pickup for a D2 program.
Although this team couldn’t pull off the win, Heritage HS Senior Guard Lucas Taylor Lucas Taylor 6'6" | SG Heritage | 2021 State #184 Nation NC didn’t go down without a fight , dropping a game high of 36 Points in the loss. Taylor was aggressive to score the ball , especially in the fourth quarter , showcasing his ability to score in multiple ways.
Terry Sanford HS Senior Guard Anthony Geddie scored a game high of 25 Points in their first round win over Union Pines. Geddie has shown his ability to knock down shots from three point range all season and Terry Sanford will need solid play from him throughout the playoffs if they hope to make a deep run.
Princeton HS Senior Guard Tyrese Whitley Tyrese Whitley 6'2" | CG Princeton | 2021 State NC led the way for them with a 30 Point performance against Voyager Academy. Whitley found his scoring rhythm and helped Princeton build a nice lead that they would not relinquish the entire game.
Pinecrest HS Senior Guard Bradlee Haskell Bradlee Haskell 6'2" | CG Pinecrest | 2021 State NC was the story of the playoffs last season, putting together a nice run all the way to the Regional Championship game. This year will be different but Haskell got off to a nice start , leading his team to a close first round win, scoring 24 Points and pulling down 8 Rebounds.
The season didn’t end the way that he would have liked but Pine Forest HS Sophomore Isaiah Washington Isaiah Washington 6'5" | SG Winston-Salem Christian | 2024 State NC did everything in his power to keep his team alive, finishing with a game high of 30 Points. Washington has used this season to prove himself as one of the better sophomores in the state and a legit Division 1 prospect.
