<p>The NCHSAA season is almost underway with playoffs soon taking shape. Here's a look at some 2022 standouts at the 4A level in Part I of the standouts.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="848087" first="Silas" last="Demary Jr."] | 6’4 Guard | Millbrook</h5>
<p>Demary has been the leader in the backcourt this season for the Millbrook Wildcats as they’re off to an 8-0 start. He’s been a breakout performer, putting up 18.3 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 4.3 apg and 3.6 spg. He’s been one of their younger top performers as seniors [player_tooltip player_id="574413" first="Eric" last="Van Der Heijden"] and [player_tooltip player_id="838057" first="Chris" last="Daniels"] lead the way. He’s shooting 55 percent from the floor and 44 percent from behind the arc as a two-way threat for Millbrook. Look for his name to grow on the recruiting trail.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="787676" first="Daniel" last="Sanford"] | 6’8 Forward | Vance</h5>
<p>Sanford has expanded his game a ton for Vance with some departures in their rotation. He’s putting up 26.0 ppg, 10.7 rpg and 2.7 apg while shooting 64 percent from the floor and 58 percent from 3-point range in his junior season. He’s posted no less than 22 points as the Cougars are off to a 3-0 start. Winthrop, Charlotte, Western Carolina, Tennessee and South Florida have offered him.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1115920" first="Keyon" last="Webb"] | 6’2 Guard | Riverside-Durham</h5>
<p>Webb has been a consistent force in the Riverside Pirates rotation in 2020-21. He’s averaging 21.7 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.7 apg and 1.9 spg in the backcourt as their lead guard. He’s a strong guard with solid instincts scoring on all three levels that also forces pressure on the defensive end of the floor. As he learns to score under pressure using his strength, he’s a prospect due to grow in the class. </p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1124936" first="Jarod" last="Brown"] | 6’4 Forward | South View</h5>
<p>Brown is a new face that’s turned heads at South View this season with his athleticism and length. He’s already made waves in the 9Dime Fall League as the Defensive Player of the Year. He’s another breakout prospect in the 2022 class as they’re 4-1 on the season, averaging 12.8 ppg, 12.2 rpg, 2.6 bpg and 2.4 apg in the rotation for the Tigers. He’s a prospect that’s flies around on both ends making plays. He put up 16 points, 13 rebounds, six blocks, three assists and three steals in their win over Grays Creek on Jan. 30.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="945043" first="Isaiah" last="Williams"] | 6’5 Forward | Porter Ridge</h5>
<p>Williams is a versatile forward that can do multiple things for Porter Ridge. He's producing 15.5 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 1.5 apg and 1.5 bpg in his junior season. He’s a prospect that’s provided rebound support and rim protection for the Pirates. He has hree double-doubles through four appearances. He’s been a frontcourt presence on the offensive end as well, with 23 points coming against Butler back on Jan. 8 in a victory. Look for his name to grow as more colleges get eyes on him.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="577861" first="Jordan" last="Marsh"] | 5’10 Guard | Hickory Ridge</h5>
<p>Marsh is off to a strong start to the 2020-21 season, picking up where he left off last season from Hickory Ridge. He’s put up 19.6 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.6 spg and 1.8 apg through his first five appearances. He’s posted 22 points or more in their last four games to pace their backcourt attack while also defending with a ton of energy. </p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="945006" first="Justin" last="Monden"] | 5'10 Point Guard | Heritage</h5>
<p>Monden is an underrated floor general that's growing at Heritage High School. He's gotten a lot more aggressive with the ball in his hands on all three levels for the Huskies. He's posted 16 ppg, 4 rpg, 4 apg and 2 spg while his squad is 5-1 on the season. He makes plays for himself and others with the ball in his hands.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1121048" first="Nigel" last="Okwakol"] | 6'4 Guard/Wing | South Garner</h5>
<p>Okwakol is off to a strong start to his junior year, making his case for a breakout prospect at South Garner. He's producing 14.0 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 4..8 apg and 1.9 spg, filling up the stat sheet as one of their primary playmaker in the rotation. He's already posted two 20-point games as well as posted a double-double with 11point and 11 assists in a win over Apex back on Jan. 12. </p>
