<p style="text-align: center;">Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top Inside-Outside combinations around the state. Having a talented forward paired up with an excellent guard can lead to a lot of winning basketball.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="981141" first="Tarris" last="Reed Jr"]-[player_tooltip player_id="984503" first="Damien" last="Mayo"] (Chaminade): The talented 2022 duo were the Red Devils’ leading scorers as sophomores on a Class 5 Final Four team last season. As juniors, they have led Chaminade to a 16-1 record and No. 1 ranking in Class 6. The 6’10 Reed is averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks a game while shooting 66 percent from the field. The 6’3 Mayo is an explosive athlete who is averaging 14 points, five rebounds and four assists while shooting 36 percent from 3-point range.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="984504" first="Luke" last="Northweather"]-[player_tooltip player_id="992312" first="Quinn" last="Kusgen"] (Blair Oaks): This 2022 Dynamic Duo has been putting up dominant numbers in Mid-Missouri this season. The multi-faceted 6’9 Northweather is averaging 28.1 points, 11.4 rebounds and 2.5 blocks while shooting 76 percent from two-point range and 42 percent from 3-point range. The 6’1 Kusgen is a three-level scorer who averages 19 points, four rebounds and four assists while shooting 47 percent from 3-point range.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="583715" first="Sam" last="Thompson"]-[player_tooltip player_id="824188" first="Sam" last="Maddox"] (Francis Howell): The two Sams are a Dynamic 2021 pair that has been key cogs of a Final Four run in 2019 and a state quarterfinals appearance in 2020. The 6’10 250-pound Thompson is averaging 21 points, 10 rebounds and 3.5 blocks while shooting 59 percent from the field. The 6’0 Maddox is an Eastern Illinois baseball recruit who averages 17 points, four rebounds and two assists while showing the propensity to hit clutch shots in big moments.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="824216" first="Jared" last="Gerdes"]-Griffin Kliewer (Summit Christian): The 2021 standout pair has led SCA to a 16-4 record with their fantastic play. The 6’8 Gerdes is averaging 20 points, 7.8 rebounds and two blocks a game while displaying a dependable stroke from 3-point range. The 6’3 Kliewer is an Indiana Wesleyan recruit who just became the school’s career scoring leader on Saturday. He is averaging 22.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and four assists a game while making better than 40 percent of his 3-point attempts.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="824138" first="Harrison" last="Wilmsen"]-Jahaad Fort (Priory): An excellent combination that has been putting work in the Metro League. The 6’9 2021 Wilmsen is averaging 24 points, 12 rebounds and 2.3 blocks a game. Fort, a 5’10 2022 point guard, is averaging 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals a game.</p>
<p>Owen Graham-Tanner McDaniel (North Andrew): The top Inside-Outsde duo in NWMO, McDaniel is a 6’3 2021 guard who is averaging 24 points a game. He leads All NWMO schools in scoring. Graham is a 6’9 2022 forward who has come on strong this season. He is averaging 11.3 points a game while posting double-doubles on a consistent basis.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="824164" first="Karl" last="Moore"]-[player_tooltip player_id="824139" first="DeMarion" last="Shanklin"] (Jennings): The 6’2 2021 Shanklin is a talented scoring guard who is averaging 24 points, three rebounds and three assists a game while shooting 43 percent from 3-point range. The 6’5 Moore has been a force inside for the Warriors for the past two seasons. He is currently averaging 12 points, nine rebounds and four blocks a game.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="824130" first="Jonathan" last="Dunn"]-Kannon Gipson (Logan-Rogersville): This 2021 combination just came together as high school teammates in January when Dunn became eligible. This new combo makes Rogersville a prime contender in Class 5. The 6’7 Dunn is an explosive combo forward who can score inside or create offense off the dribble. He is averaging 23 points a game. The 6’3 Gipson is a versatile combo guard who can knock down 3-pointers, score on the drive and facilitate the offense. He is averaging 18 points and five assists a game.</p>
<p>Orie Owen-[player_tooltip player_id="1050175" first="Ethan" last="Jones"] (Doniphan): The Dons are currently 18-7 and just win the championship of the Ozark Foothills League championship thanks to this potent combination. The 6’6 Owen is a skilled lefty with nice post moves and a good shooting touch. The 6’0 Jones is one of the top 3-point marksmen in Southeast Missouri.</p>
<p>Kyson Lahman-Connor Killion (East Newton): This is a unique 2021 tandem where Mr. Outside is taller than Mr. Inside. The 6’3 Layman is an undersized post player who averages a team high 15 points and 5.6 rebounds a game. Killion is a 6’5 guard who averages 14 points, six rebounds and three assists a game. Together, they have led East Newton to a tremendous 20-1 record this season.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="824145" first="Caleb" last="Legrand"] and Hayden Jansen (Cape Notre Dame): An excellent 2021 tandem in the SEMO area that has led the Bulldogs to a 15-5 record. The 6’6 Legrand carries a big load on the offensive end inside and he’s also an excellent shot blocker. The 6’3” has provided consistent 3-point shooting throughout the season to compliment Legrand inside. He hit a season-high eight treys in a game this season.</p>
