More New Names (Class of 2021)

<p>Prep Hoops Missouri introduces you to some more new names of talented players in the Class of 2021 who have been playing good basketball while operating under the radar. These young men are solid small college prospects.</p> <p>Jaidon Anthony-Head 6’0" Carnahan: An excellent all-around guard who can operate at the point or play off the ball with equal effectiveness. He has good handles and can create his own shot, plus he can operate without the ball and play off of screens to get himself open. He penetrates well and can hit the pull up jumper from the mid-range with nice elevation. He is averaging 18 points, four rebounds and two steals a game while shooting 54 percent from the field. He has already picked up an offer from Ottuwa University.</p> <p>Jack Hanson 6’7" North Kansas City: A solid power forward who is one of the best rim-protectors in the Kansas City area. He has a good sense of timing and he will block shots while coming over from the weak side or one on one with his own man. He has a solid build and good mobility to go along with it. He plays his role on the team very well as he averages seven points, eight rebounds and nearly three blocks a game.</p> <p>Stacian Livingston 5’11" Bayless: A sturdy point guard who does an excellent job of getting to the basket on dribble penetration. He can touch the paint at almost any time as he stays low on the dribble and uses his strength, plus he is a solid finisher. He is a good football prospect and he brings that toughness to the basketball court. He is an excellent rebounder for a guard his size at more than six per game. He also averages 16 points, three assists and three steals a game while shooting a solid 35 percent from 3-point range.</p> <p>Trey Gannan 6’1" Meadville: An impressive small-school offensive player who is a big matchup problem at his level. He is strong and he really can operate in the low post like a player several inches taller because he can seal and finish plus use a variety of moves. He can also come outside and take defenders off the dribble and score on tough takes. He is taking nearly six three throws a game, so he knows how to draw contact. He is currently averaging 20 points and eight rebounds a game.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1050175" first="Ethan" last="Jones"] 6’0" Doniphan: The talented shooting guard is one of the best 3-point threats in all of Southeast Missouri. He will force you to extend you defense because he will line it up from well beyond the 3-point line and knock them down in bunches. Most of his work is done off the catch, but he moves well without the ball and his release is pretty quick. He will get into the lane and score off the dribble to keep defenses honest.</p>
