Taking a look around from the action on Monday at some of the top performers on the night. A lot of these teams and guys are looking at playing multiple games in a short amount of time, so the effort, intensity, and high quality of play has been enjoyable to watch!

[player_tooltip player_id="1080159" first="Will" last="Anciaux"], 6’6 F, 2023, Kapaun Mt. Carmel: One of the top prospects in the class of 2023 here on Prep Hoops, Anciaux solidified himself last night with a 24 point outing and once again, used his length and athleticism to wreck havoc on the floor in a win over Northwest. At 16-5 The Crusaders are sitting in prime position to make some noise this post season. Anciaux is an extremely versatile forward who’s game is primed to make impact plays in big games.

[player_tooltip player_id="889465" first="Blake" last="Danitschek"], 6’5 F, 2021, Kapaun Mt. Carmel: The lengthy wing/forward hybrid pairs perfectly with the previously mentioned Anciaux, and the duo is one of the best forward/wing duos in the state of Kansas. Danitschek’s combination of length and shooting ability makes him a really tough player to guard night after night. The three point shot is smooth and consistent, and he has great pop in the mid range game. He had 22 last night in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id="1080163" first="Eli" last="Sawyers"], 6’5 F, 2023, Southeast of Saline: It was big night for the versatile forwards in Kansas, and for the top 2023 prospects, as Sawyers continued his breakout season dropping 23 points. He is starting to get more aggressive and playing with a court killer’s mentality which could really elevate his game if he can get there consistently. Highlighting his performance was a big time dunk in transition that flushed hard and got the gym rocking.

[player_tooltip player_id="602176" first="Drew" last="Nicholson"], 6’7 F, 2021, Hoisington: Another lengthy versatile player to have a great game last night, Nicholson dropped 22 and drilled a couple of big 3’s in Hoisington’s win. The college interest is starting to really pick up for him and you can see why, the length, shooting ability, and versatility are bg time.

[player_tooltip player_id="889470" first="Harrison" last="Braudis"], 6’1 G, 2021, Bishop Miege: The future Minnesota State guard had himself a big time game when the lights were the brightest in a primetime matchup with Blue Valley North. This was a staple game fore Braudis and his ability to control games in a variety of ways. He had 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists in the 7 point win.

[player_tooltip player_id="1070207" first="Kale" last="Purcell"], 6’4 Wing, 2021, Holton: Holton is one of the surprise teams this season and Purcell has helped lead the way to their successes. In the midst of an insane schedule this week, the athletic wing put up 25 points last night and helped put some breathing room in between Holton and Jeff West with late free throws. He caught a couple of nice lobs, hit tough contested shots, and shot well from the foul line.

[player_tooltip player_id="891912" first="Nahcs" last="Wahwassuck"], 6’5 Guard/Wing, 2022, Royal Valley: The versatile junior scored his 1,000th career point last night as a part of a 24 point effort in mainly three quarters of work in a large win over Sante Fe. With a season and some change left of games, it will be intriguing to see where he finishes at scoring wise as his game constantly progresses and improves. Not just a scorer, the junior hybrid guard has great court vision, length, and athleticism that makes him a tough matchup for most teams.
