BROOKFIELD --   In a matchup between two state title contenders, 3-seed Brookfield Central defeated 2-seed Brookfield East 76-69 in Friday’s WIAA boy’s basketball regional semifinals.

Texas commit David Joplin David Joplin led the Lancers with a game-high 32 points. Washington (St. Louis) commit Hayden Doyle Hayden Doyle had 31 points to pace the Spartans.
