<p>Everybody always thinks of Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx when you talk about the CHSAA. But the Staten Island schools have tremendous talent and successful programs as well. This is our first of 2 installments on this borough. Check out our previous 2023 reports to see some more of the players from Staten Island.</p>
<p><strong>Kendall Arcuri. 6”3. 2022. St. Joseph by the Sea</strong></p>
<p>Crafty lefty. Finishes at the rim through contact. Also shoots well from the perimeter. Uses his length to defend. Has that intangible knack to find the basketball. Working on scoring using his off-hand and a quicker first step.</p>
<p><strong>Uriah Logan. 5”11. 2021. St. Peters</strong></p>
<p>Tremendous defender on the ball. Great court vision. Makes the right decision with the ball. Very athletic. Extremely quick first step. Working on becoming more consistent with his jumper</p>
<p><strong>Danny Marinaccio. 5”11. 2022. St. Joseph by the Sea</strong></p>
<p>Can shoot the three-ball. Excellent mid-range game. Great elevation on his jump shot. Coach likes the ball in his hands at the end of the game because he is automatic from the line. Has been working on his handle in the open floor to get by defenders.</p>

<p>Good in the pick and roll or pop sets. Good shooter from 15 feet and in. Outstanding work ethic. Good post defender and tremendous rebounder. Working on his handle.</p>
<p><strong>John Molloy. 6”4. 2022. St. Joseph by the Sea</strong></p>
<p>Hard-nosed tough player. Does all the little things to help you win. A lefty who uses his body in the paint to score. Gets putbacks and keep possessions alive. Improving on guarding the perimeter and moving his feet.</p>
<p><strong>Tommy Keane. 5”11. 2022. St. Peters</strong></p>
<p>Terrific shooter. Unlimited range. High basketball IQ. Can play either guard spot effectively. Only needs more varsity game experience because he has the natural tools and he understands the game.</p>
