This top-ranked Texas point guard gave us some of the nastiest dunks of the season, slamming on Wakeland’s 6-foot-9-inch center on two separate occasions, completely showing off his remarkable athletic abilities and shutting the gym down. [player_tooltip player_id="781882" first="Arterio" last="Morris"] and the Knights h</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">ave been destroying the competition on a regular basis, and they’re showing that they have what it takes to lead Kimball all the way to the state title.</span></p>

<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Franklin has been one of the year’s biggest stock risers and he made sure to finish this season off with a bang, going off for 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field and 6-of-7 shooting from deep. Devyn </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Franklin was on absolute fire against Hunstville, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">scorching the nets at every chance he got, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">everything Franklin put up went in</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">. He</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"> even knocked down a nasty step-back three-pointer with a defender hanging all over him, leaving his man completely dumbfounded after the shot went in. This 6-foot-8-inch forward</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"> proved to be a deadly spot-up shooter that wasn’t phased in the slightest by contesting defenders. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">[player_tooltip player_id="1052081" first="Devyn" last="Franklin"] is becoming a problem, he’s an all-around weapon who just continues to </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">expand his game, and </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">get better, even his jumper has gotten a lot quicker and more fluid since the very first game of the season. This young baller is a player to keep track of throughout the summer. </span></p>

<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">[player_tooltip player_id="958567" first="Khaden" last="Bennett"] is one of those guys that always seems to be in the right place at the right time, whether it's a rebound, a steal, or a pass from a teammate, the ball always seems to find him. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Bennett is a highly alert defender with very active hands that caused a lot of trouble, making Braswell pay for being too loose and lazy with the ball. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Bennett made his assignments work for everything they got, and it led him to pick up 4 steals to go along with his 7 rebounds, 7 points, and 3 assists. You can always count on [player_tooltip player_id="958567" first="Khaden" last="Bennett"] to bring the effort and production to the floor each time he steps out there. </span></p>

<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">If you don’t know by now, [player_tooltip player_id="781884" first="Cason" last="Wallace"] is the most productive player in the state. He gives 110% on every single possession, he fills up the stat sheet each and every night, and this game was no different. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Wallace racked up his second straight double-double of these playoffs with 20 or more points and 10 plus rebounds, by putting up 22 points on </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">50% shooting from the field</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">, 11 boards, 2 steals, and a block against the Marcus Marauders. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Cason even went on to pull off one of the most impressive blocks of the year when he chase-down blocked a fastbreak dunk on one of the best leapers in the state, swatting their dunk attempt right off the glass. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">[player_tooltip player_id="781884" first="Cason" last="Wallace"] alone makes the Richardson Eagles a true threat to go all the way to the state championship. </span></p>

<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><em><strong>Jacari Westbrook - Shooting Guard - L.G. Pinkston</strong></em></p>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Jacari Westbrook proved to be a tough shot maker, hitting numerous shots after absorbing contacting and fighting through it. The Pinkston guard displayed great body control and solid footwork near the basket with the way he was able to twist, turn or hop through tight spaces. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Westbrook operated very effectively out of the high and low post, either finding guys on the cut or making close-range jumpers. Jacari Westbrook </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">showed a lot of promise as he c</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">ontinued his scoring consistency by putting up 20 points to go along with his 10 rebounds. </span></p>
