<p>The 2022 rankings has brought a ton of new talent to the forefront in the latest update. Here’s a look at Part III of the New Faces in the rankings.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1126562" first="Jay" last="Torrence"]: No. 107</h5>
<p>Torrence is an explosive guard in the Mount Tabor backcourt that’s had a strong showing in the backcourt in 2020-21. He’s had a strong showing in their starting rotation while acting as a primary scorer in the rotation. While he can shoot it and create off the bounce, he uses his athleticism in a variety of ways to make things happen on the floor on both ends. </p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1013055" first="Tajuan" last="Simpkins"]: No. 109</h5>
<p>Simpkins is an emerging name in the Victory Christian Center rotation that’s quite the load on the wing given his athleticism. He’s got a knack for getting to the rim and finishing with authority and an even greater feel for shooting the 3-ball with efficiency. He’s another prospect on their roster to keep an eye on.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1113865" first="Zeke" last="Cannedy"]: No. 111</h5>
<p>Cannedy is another prospect in the Kings Mountain rotation alongside [player_tooltip player_id="947095" first="Isaiah" last="Tate"] that’s been a productive force in 2020-21. He’s posted 14.0 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 2.6 apg and 1.5 spg as their secondary option in the lineup. He’s a 6-foot-1 prospect that likes to attack off the bounce and make plays in traffic on offense and a wiry defender when dialed in.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1117609" first="Daniel" last="Lubamba"]: No. 112</h5>
<p>Lubamba is a versatile 6-foot-5 prospect on the rise at Northside Christian Academy. He’s an underrated defender with good length and strength that can defend multiple spots on the floor. Offensively, he’s developing as an all-around scorer while being quite the catch-and-shoot threat. </p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="932083" first="Joel" last="Baucom"]: No. 113</h5>
<p>Baucom has made a lot of strides as a new face in the Combine Academy rotation in 2020-21 as a sharpshooter on the wing. He’s got good size at 6-foot-3 that he utilizes well to space the floor on the perimeter and be an outlet for shots on the perimeter. He’s a name to keep an eye on.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1136378" first="Finley" last="Simmons"]: No. 119</h5>
<p>Simmons has been quite the point guard in the Mount Tabor as they’ve won the Piedmont Triad Conference going 9-0 in 2020-21. He’s an underrated playmaker that does well to control the pace off bounce and make plays for himself and others in the halfcourt. Defensively, he’s a pest that likes to take charges and do the dirty work. He’s another prospect in the Spartans backcourt worth noting.</p>
