The 2021 rankings have been updated as the conclusion of the high school season slowly approaches. Here’s a look at Part II of the Stock Risers series.

[player_tooltip player_id="1013513" first="Scheick" last="Samoura"] from 103 to 60

Samoura has emerged as a leader in the Fuquay-Varina rotation as they boast a 9-2 record. He’s posted 15.6 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.3 apg and 1.3 bpg using his length at 6-foot-5 to do multiple things on the floor. He was originally committed to Air Force Academy before re-opening his recruitment this past summer. He’s been heavily pursued my some midmajor programs since then.

[player_tooltip player_id="1028027" first="Ryan" last="Maslow"] from 81 to 67

Maslow is another versatile prospect in the Fuquay-Varina lineup on the wing and in the post. He’s a 6-foot-7 prospect that’s produced 13.0 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 2.2 apg in the lineup, showing off his ability to score it on the perimeter, rebound the ball and make plays for others. He’s an unsigned prospect worth getting a look at.

[player_tooltip player_id="838061" first="Nygie" last="Stroman"] from 77 to 68

Stroman is a forward prospect that’s had a productive season in the Richmond Senior frontcourt. He’s averaging 11.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 2.6 bpg and 1.6 apg while showing off his ability to be a presence in the paint on both ends. He’s got a strong feel for making plays in the paint and midrange area. He holds an offer from North Carolina A&T.

[player_tooltip player_id="838039" first="Blane" last="St. Clair"] from 136 to 76

St. Clair has made some major strides in the Davidson Day rotation as a three-level scoring option in 2020-21. He’s got a knack for shooting the ball on the perimeter and is an underrated driver off the bounce. He’s headed to Army-West Point following his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="932050" first="Jayvon" last="Mercer"] from 107 to 80

Mercer made quite the movement in the rankings following another stellar performance in the East Wake rotation. He’s produced 17.5 ppg, 7.6 rpg and 1.2 apg while showing off his ability to be a presence around the rim and on the glass. He’s a 6-foot-6 prospect with the ability to create off the bounce and make an impact in the paint. Colleges in need of a 3/4 man, look no further.
