Garden Valley, Covy Kelly Covy Kelly 6'0" | PG Garden Valley | 2021 State ID : Covy is one of the best scorers in the state at any level and he has his Garden Valley Wolverines sitting atop the 1A DII rankings. Kelly is a dynamic scorer with a deadly shot from outside. He can also score at the rim, he can pull-up for a mid-range jumper, or he can dish to the open man for an easy bucket. Garden Valley plays really well together and Covy is one of the big reasons why they have seen so much success up to this point. Watch for Covy Kelly Covy Kelly 6'0" | PG Garden Valley | 2021 State ID to make a big impact at the state tournament as soon as he sees a couple of shots go down.
Watersprings, Daniel Canfield: Watersprings has one of the best comeback stories in the state. A year ago, they only had 5 players in their entire high school basketball program. This season, Watersprings rolls 12-deep and they are off to a blistering start. Daniel Canfield is one of the top players on the team and is averaging close to 20 points thanks to his sharp shooting ability and his role with the team. Canfield can score in a lot of ways, but he is deadly from beyond the arc and Watersprings looks to him for a lot of scoring responsibilities. Look for Waterspings to make a big splash (couldn’t help myself) at the state tournament in March.
