Which ten prospects impressed in week eight of the Wisconsin high school basketball season?

[player_tooltip player_id="929231" first="Kobe" last="Johnson"] -- Nicolet -- PG -- 2021

This week, Johnson played his best game of the season against one of the state’s most dangerous teams. Even though Nicolet fell to Brookfield Central, Johnson still tallied 36 points on 14 made field goals. At USC, I expect Johnson to become a really great player.

[player_tooltip player_id="804899" first="Zac" last="Johnson"] -- River Falls -- SG -- 2021

Johnson is one of the most lethal shooters in the state. The River Falls star is able to make shots from all over the court, regardless of the circumstances. In a blowout win over Rice Lake, Johnson scored 36 points, falling two points short of tying his season-high.

[player_tooltip player_id="879993" first="Hayden" last="Doyle"] -- Brookfield East -- SG -- 2021

Doyle hit a huge milestone this weekend. He became the leading scorer in Brookfield Central history, as he put up huge numbers throughout his career. Right after Doyle broke the record, he returned and scored a season-best 40 points.

[player_tooltip player_id="804915" first="Cael" last="McGee"] -- Stoughton -- SG -- 2021

McGee has been a prospect that I have had my eye on for quite some time. He is a scrappy prospect that is a talented scorer who can also make all the hustle plays. In just his third game of the season, the Stoughton shooting guard scored 26 points.

[player_tooltip player_id="761411" first="Najashi" last="Tolefree"] -- West Allis Central -- SF -- 2022

Tolefree is going to be one of the best players in Wisconsin’s 2022 class. He is an athletic, smart prospect who is an efficient scorer at all three levels. The small forward had two great games this week, as he tallied 47 total points.

[player_tooltip player_id="879992" first="Gavin" last="Ralph"] -- Wauzeka-Steuben -- SG -- 2021

Ralph is a player that made a name for himself while playing on the Prep Hoops Circuit. He is a good scorer and passer who can make a lot of plays. This week, in a blowout victory, Ralph had the best game of his senior season. He scored 32 points on 16-18 shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id="701998" first="Donald" last="McHenry"] -- Milwaukee Academy of Science -- PG -- 2021

McHenry is having himself an excellent senior season. He is averaging 32.5 points per game on an incredible 61 percent shooting from the field. This week, he set a new career high in points with 52 in a win over North Fond Du Lac. College coaches need to keep an eye on McHenry.

[player_tooltip player_id="879981" first="Kamari" last="McGee"] -- Racine St. Catherines -- PG -- 2021

McGee saw his stock rise this past summer while playing with Wisconsin Playground Club. He showed that he can score, pass, and play really great defense. In a win over The Prarie School, he scored 27 points to lead his squad.

[player_tooltip player_id="801141" first="Casey" last="Verhagen"] -- Sheboygan Lutheran -- PG -- 2022

Verhagen’s versitility is his main asset. The Sheboygan Lutheran point guard is a good passer, scorer, rebounder, ball handler, and overall teammate. The point guard scored 85 total points in the 8th week of this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="806560" first="Jordan" last="Johnson"] -- Elkhorn -- PG -- 2021

Johnson has made his mark in his senior season. The point guard out of Elkhorn scored 33 points for his team in a big win over Union Grove. At Minnesota State Moorhead, I look for Johnson to become a great prospect.
