Bryce Taylor 6’6″ NE Cairo: The power forward scored 25 points in the victory over Salisbury in the championship game of the Salisbury Tournament. He showcased a feathery shooting touch from the high post as well as a 3-pointer. He passes well in a high-low set and can muscle inside for buckets. I was also impressed that he sealed the deal with six three throws in the closing seconds.
Kannon Schutte 6’4″ Winfield: The talented forward led the Warriors to a berth in the championship game of the Clopton Tournament. He can post up well inside and he has a nice shooting touch from out to 12-15 feet, including an effective fadeaway number. He uses his length well on the top of the full court press. He also displayed his athleticism by throwing down a big dunk in the semifinals.
Noah Copeland Noah Copeland 6'2" | SG Kirksville | 2021 State MO 6’4″ Kirksville: An excellent prospect on the football field who brings that physicality and toughness to the basketball court along with a very nice skill set. He’s strong around the basket where he can hold off defenders and score, but he can handle it and make plays. He will spot the open teammate with his passing and sink a 3-pointer when needed. Helped to lead his team to the championship of the Highland Tournament.
Karter Koenig Karter Koenig 6'6" | PF Westran | 2021 State MO 6’6″ Westran: A big lefty post who helped his team to the championship of the New Franklin Tournament. He took over the championship game late when he scored 11 points in the fourth quarter. He’s a strong finisher inside, but he also has good mobility and he can make plays off the dribble. Very active.
Abe Haerr 6’5″ Palmyra: A very solid post player who puts his strength and footwork to very good use at both ends of the floor. He is a very good position defender who gets to the right spot to either block a shot or steal a post-entry pass. He’s also mobile on the offense end where he can score on a variety of moves in the paint.
Trey Gannan 6’1″ Meadville: An undersized forward who was very productive around the basket as he used his strength and footwork to get buckets. His high motor and physicality enabled him to have success against bigger opponents in the paint. He can also put it on the floor.
Jacob Brooks 6’3″ Sturgeon: An athletic combo forward who does a nice job using his bounce to work against the bigger players that he is matched up with. He can elevate and shoot over the top of defenders in the paint or he can step out and beat them off the dribble.
