This coming week we have some big-time matchups to keep our eye on. Make sure you pay attention, the season is moving fast. Expect more movement in next week’s Power Rankings.
Here are the ND Class B Power Rankings, a list of #1 to 10.
1. Enderlin – 8-1. The Eagles had a busy week with three wins over Warwick, White Shield, and LaMoure/Litchville-Marion. This coming week Enderlin has one game on Friday at Northern Cass. Joe Hurlburt Joe Hurlburt 6'10" | PF Enderlin | 2022 State #147 Nation MN and Gus Hurlburt Gus Hurlburt 6'9" | PF Enderlin | 2022 State ND have the Eagles on a 6-game win streak.
2. Four Winds/Minnewaukan – 6-1. The Indians only played one game this week. They had a 25-point win at Hillsboro/Central Valley. Four Winds will be busy this coming week with games against New Rockford/Sheyenne, Benson County, and Oak Grove. This deep talented team is on a 4-game win streak.
3. Dickinson Trinity – 10-1. The Titans picked up a pair of wins this week against New England and Central McLean. This coming week Dickinson Trinity stays at home with games against Richardton-Taylor and Beach. The Titans have won 6 games in a row.
4. Dunseith – 5-0. The Dragons had just one game this week and picked up a 9-point win against St. John. Coming up they will be busy with matchups against Rolette/Wolford, Langdon/Edmore/Munich, and Westhope/Newburg. Tuesday is going to be the game of the week in Class B with Dunseith and Langdon/Edmore/Munich both undefeated on the year.
5. Powers Lake – 7-0. The Ranchers picked up two 20+ point wins this week. Next up they play two games in the week against Tioga and Kenmare. The Ranchers are 1 of 3 teams left in ND Class B that are still undefeated. Powers Lake is led by Noah Fredrickson Noah Fredrickson 6'0" | SG Powers Lake | 2021 State ND who has been nothing but impressive so far this season.
6. Langdon/Edmore/Munich – 7-0. The Cardinals tallied two more wins this week. They had a huge overtime win over Rugby on Saturday evening. This coming Tuesday they have a Top-Ten matchup against Dunseith who is also undefeated on the year. On Thursday, the Cardinals play at Rolla. Grant Romfo Grant Romfo 6'1" | SF Langdon/Edmore/Munich | 2021 State ND and Simon Romfo Simon Romfo 6'1" | SG Langfond-Edmore-Munich | 2021 State ND lead the way for this resilient team.
7. Ellendale – 8-1. The Cardinal’s only loss on the year was against a South Dakota team, so they are unbeaten in North Dakota so far. They picked up three wins this week. Coming up they play LaMoure/Litchville-Marion and Carrington. Ellendale is led by 6-7 junior Scott Wagner Scott Wagner 6'8" | C Ellendale | 2022 State ND who is a walking double-double.
8. North Border – 7-1. The Eagle’s only loss on the year was to Langdon/Edmore/Munich in December. On Thursday they had a monster win at Grafton by 14 points. This coming week they have one game at Thompson. North Border has talented players with Ayden Stainbrook, Jaden Lee, and Trenton Cosley.
9. Grafton/St. Thomas – 8-1. The Spoilers went 2-1 this week. On Tuesday they lost to North Border and on Thursday they beat Central Cass in an overtime thriller. They have two games this coming week. The Spoilers play Larimore on Thursday and have a difficult matchup Saturday against Kindred. Look for Stevan Garza Stevan Garza 6'2" | SG Grafton | 2021 State ND to have a big week for Grafton.
10. Central Cass – 8-1. The Squirrels lost on Friday night in overtime to Grafton. They bounced back Saturday with a blowout victory over Carrington. This coming week Central Cass has only one game. The Squirrels play Linton/HMB on Tuesday at Jamestown. This matchup will be one of the best games of the week in Class B.
