We have a new #1 in our rankings this week. There are no new teams in the top 5, but the order has shifted around a bit. We have some monster matchups this coming week in the EDC and WDA. The last week of January is going to be a good one in Class A.

Here are the ND Class A Power Rankings, a list of #1 to 5.

1. West Fargo – 9-0. The Packers only played one game this past week and it was a 15-point win over Valley City. West Fargo has a huge week ahead of them with 3 games. The Packers first two games are against Devils Lake and Grand Forks Central. On Saturday they head south to West Fargo Sheyenne for a matchup between #1 and #2 in State. This is a much-anticipated game between two rival teams. Expect a big week from [player_tooltip player_id="812231" first="Brett" last="Limke"], [player_tooltip player_id="812219" first="Carson" last="Hegerle"], [player_tooltip player_id="731900" first="Carter" last="Birrenkott"] as they will have their work cut out for them.

2. West Fargo Sheyenne – 12-1. The Mustangs rolled through their week and picked up three more victories. They only have one game in the coming week. The Mustangs do not play until Saturday, so they will have all week to prepare for their rival the West Fargo Packers. The last time they played it was a 3-point game. I am expecting [player_tooltip player_id="731876" first="Jacksen" last="Moni"] and [player_tooltip player_id="750185" first="Jah’Heem" last="Leake"] to have big games. Keep an eye out for Gage Anderson who poured in 29 points and seven 3-pointers in his last outing.

3. Minot – 10-1. The Magi had a nice week and picked up two wins over Williston and Mandan. They will be tested this coming week with tough matchups against Bismarck High and Bismarck St. Mary’s. Minot’s only loss on the season was to Bismarck. [player_tooltip player_id="750158" first="Deonte" last="Martinez"] is the stud point-guard for this squad who is performing like an All-State Player.

4. Bismarck High – 9-2. The Demons lost by 8 on Tuesday to their rival Legacy and bounced back with a 36-point win over another in-town rival Bismarck Century on Saturday. This coming Tuesday they have a big showdown with Minot at home. Bismarck closes out the week with games against Williston and Watford City. If Bismarck expects to beat Minot, they will need big games out of [player_tooltip player_id="731866" first="Gunner" last="Swanson"], [player_tooltip player_id="1046352" first="Treysen" last="Eaglestaff"], and [player_tooltip player_id="750174" first="Max" last="Tschosik"].

5. Jamestown – 9-2. The Blue Jays took care of business this past week against Bismarck St. Mary’s and Turtle Mountain. They have a light week ahead of them with only one game. Jamestown plays at Dickinson on Friday night. Look for [player_tooltip player_id="731881" first="Carson" last="Lamp"], [player_tooltip player_id="750168" first="Brooks" last="Carroll"], and [player_tooltip player_id="750163" first="Keith" last="Levin"] to keep with their winning ways.
