<p>A nice pull-up game. He gets it off of a sneaky quick first step. Gets to the rim in a variety of ways and can finish through contact. A really good defender uses his hands and footwork to disrupt ball-handlers and also getting deflections in the passing lanes.</p>

<p>High basketball IQ. Sees the floor well and zips passes through the defense. Can finish at the rim. Shot 53% from the field last season. Needs to get a little stronger.</p>
<p><strong>Messiah Collins. 6”3. 2022. Brentwood HS</strong></p>
<p>Keeps possessions alive. High energy player. Long wingspan. Excellent at challenging shots. Good on closeouts. Changes games by getting a loose ball, deflection, or scoring at the rim. </p>
<p><strong>Jon Borkowski. 5”10. 2022. Kings Park HS</strong></p>
<p>Strong hard-nosed tough player. Can stick the open three. Scrappy on the ball defender. Real good handle. Can drive it and finish.</p>
<p><strong>Derek Varlack. 5”11. 2022. Half Hollow Hills East HS</strong></p>
<p>Long lanky guard. Very smooth effortlessly-looking game. Real natural player. Solid catch and shoot. Can stroke the three consistently. Finds ways to score at the hoop and also dish the ball to a teammate for an open look or lay-up.</p>
<p><strong>Brenden Cheng. 5”9. 2021. Commack HS</strong></p>
<p>A player who needs this season. Came on last year after a fine summer of playing. Has improved on his shotmaking and getting to the basket. Is a player Commack is excited to see this coming season. His game continues to grow and he continues to impress.<br />
