[player_tooltip player_id="779884" first="Jaylon" last="Tyson"] - John Paul II - G/F

Tyson finished with 20 points and five assists in John Paul II’s 84-59 win over TCCH and showcased his balanced offensive skillset to everyone in the gym. He is a good slasher and finisher around the basket and he has the ability to hit three’s from anywhere he can get his feet set. The first word that comes to mind when I think about [player_tooltip player_id="779884" first="Jaylon" last="Tyson"]’s offensive skillset is smooth.

[player_tooltip player_id="684376" first="Manny" last="Obaseki"] - John Paul II - G

Tyson’s running mate for John Paul II was just as impressive in the win and showed his leadership just as much as his on-court skill. He was throwing perfect outlet and no-look passes, scoring in the in-between game and getting to the free-throw line. Obaseki and Tyson complement each other perfectly and they will be a dangerous duo going into the playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id="889585" first="Noah" last="Shelby"] - CREATE Academy - G

With the game tied at 77 apiece, [player_tooltip player_id="889585" first="Noah" last="Shelby"] dropped a defender and hit a deep three-pointer at the buzzer to give his team the win over Level Up Academy. Shelby also has an excellent floater and he has good decision-making skills in transition. He never tries to do too much and lets the game come to him. If Shelby’s shot is falling, watch out.

[player_tooltip player_id="889562" first="Colin" last="Smith"] - Southern Assault Prep - F

[player_tooltip player_id="889562" first="Colin" last="Smith"] is a three-level scorer that was easily one of the most talented players at the showcase. Smith showed his ability to score with his back to the basket, knock down three’s and score in transition. He also plays patiently and has the ability to handle the ball when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id="781880" first="Lee" last="Dort"] - CREATE Academy - F

[player_tooltip player_id="781880" first="Lee" last="Dort"] is an elite shot-blocker and rebounder and a decent finisher around the basket. He uses his strength to pull every rebound and if he gets his hands on a rebound, no one will be able to take it from him. Dort also crashes the offensive glass and creates second chance opportunities for his team.
