LuHi was set to have a memorable season, which is still a possibility, but for now, the team is back in the gym conducting simulation-style workouts. I had the opportunity to visit Thursday afternoon and immediately noticed the size of the team. This isn’t your typical high school team it had a college feel because of the structure, attention to detail, and preparation.

Kacper Klaczek (6’8" Forward, 2021) is the anchor of the team. He’s a sturdy built prospect who is physically imposing and seems to be college-ready. He’s an amazing athlete who plays with great effort and energy. Kacper’s motor sets him apart from the pack but his overall skill set and versatility catapult him as a legitimate prospect.

Ryan Dunn (6’7" Wing, 2021) is an intriguing prospect because of his size, length, and unique skill set. He has grown several inches since last year and continues to maintain his guard-like skills. He has an amazing 7 ft wingspan which he utilizes on both ends of the court. He’s a consistent perimeter shooter who shot 44% from three last season.

[player_tooltip player_id="787655" first="Jayden" last="Pierre"] (6’2" Point Guard, 2022) has been electric throughout his high school career. He plays with speed and tempo but always in control. Jayden has an advanced basketball IQ, first step and floor presence which fits perfectly to replace Illinois star freshman [player_tooltip player_id="766071" first="Andre" last="Curbelo"]. He plays in attack mode consistently putting pressure on the defense especially in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id="1045796" first="Jayden" last="Reid"] (5’11" Point Guard, 2023) Jayden’s game has matured through and through. The shifty guard continued to find ways to contribute last season even with a loaded backcourt. He’s an underrated athlete, playmaker, and shot-maker who plays with amazing confidence. He continues to grow physically which will further advance his overall game.

Jaxon Koroll (6’10" Center, 2023) is a strong big with an amazing inside presence. He has a very good touch around the paint. He uses his 7’1" wingspan to control the interior as a rebounder and rim protector. Jaxon has the potential to fill the void left by Ohio State standout [player_tooltip player_id="766089" first="Zed" last="Key"].

Paul Jordan (6’6" Wing, 2021) has the potential to be a solid glue guy. He has a good combination of size (6'9"-6'10" wingspan) and versatility. He's a physically strong prospect who can defend multiple positions and contribute on the offensive end as a shot-maker. The sneaky athlete has the ability to be an effective two-way college player.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046080" first="Finley" last="Sheridan"] (6’9" Forward, 2022) wasn't in attendance on this day but is certainly a prospect to watch. He's an effective stretch 4 with a high basketball IQ.
