With the chaos of the season so far including stops and starts for Covid and delays in the start of the year. Here’s a look at some Juniors who are thriving early this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1123565" first="Jalen" last="Tyus"], John Hardin - Off to a 3-0 start before Covid shut them down, the Bulldogs have been led by Tyus and his 17 points per game. He’s waited a few years to be "the man" and is taking control of his opportunity for the 5th region contender.

[player_tooltip player_id="926900" first="Robby" last="Todd"], Rowan County - Robby had been primarily a role player in his freshman and sophomore seasons at Dunbar but a transfer to Rowan County and a lot more playing time are helping the 6’8 Junior thrive. He’s up to 16 points and 8 rebounds per game for the Vikings and top 5 in the state in FG% at over 72% from the field.

[player_tooltip player_id="926936" first="Micah" last="Engle"], Lynn Camp - Another player who transferred after his Sophomore season, Engle has had a big start for the Wildcats. Putting up 23 points and 6 rebounds per game, Micah is also impressing with scoring efficiency as he’s posting splits of 57-41-77 while making over 6 free throws per game.

[player_tooltip player_id="926917" first="Donovan" last="Robinson"], Ryle - Another guard who is proving to be a really good shooter, Donovan is hitting at a 41% clip from deep while scoring over 19 points per game. Very quick with the ball in his hands, Robinson is one of the best players in Northern Kentucky that no one ever talks about.

[player_tooltip player_id="926908" first="Hayden" last="Ash"], Central Hardin - After a strong Sophomore season, Hayden is increasing his production as a Junior. Central Hardin has only gotten to play 4 games so far but Ash is off to a good start at 16 points per game and shooting 52% from deep while also getting to the free throw line almost 6 times per game.
